I did it!! It took me all day but I’m so pleased! I realised the strips I was initially using were too wide - it won’t work if they’re too wide - the proportions are crucial!

Great video, but there's one problem. If the paper is thin and flexible, it can be incredibly difficult to keep the paper from sliding out of place. Origami paper does not work, as it slides too much and when you bring the two ends together they do not lie flat, requiring tape to hold it together. I would advise only using printer paper or similarly thick, stiff paper.
