Great video as always. Thank you so much, Dr Aman Arora! Really appreciate all your hard work and dedication!!! (1) Identify the individual: name, age (or date of birth) and/or relationship to the patient (2) Find out where they are (geographically) right now: address (3) Find out whether it's a good time to talk (whether they have a few minutes) (4) Ask for their telephone number in case the line gets cut off
Very helpful for this years lockdown affected osces. Can you make follow up video on this soon please. Would be helpful considering telephone consultation osce will be the norm this year. Many thanks.
Thankyou so much for this video .I wanted to ask that what's the importance of tone in consultation.Kindly if you could highlight some points on that. Kind Regards
Are we suppose to pretend that the patient is with us? Or be real that it's a phone call? Like for example, for examination should I say " I would like to examine your rash?" or should I say "ideally I would have examine you but now can u send me a picture/email of your rash?"...
Yes - I would advise what you would ideally do when you see them (eg if you are planning to call them in) or use relevant technology as you have mentioned. We cover this case in more detail on the online course: aroramedicaleducation.co.uk/plab-2-communication-skills-online-course/
