    Why can't I make UPI payment through the contact number through the HDFC app?

      1) Account number / Customer ID
      2) Mobile number used for UPI registration
      3) UPI App and UPI ID
      4) Exact Date and Time of issue (not older than 2 days)
      5) Issue Description
      6) Step by step screenshot of issue/error from login to error page
      7) Handset model, OS System and its version
      8) Whether your UPI service has been Blocked in Past or not
      Once you receive the auto generated acknowledgment, please forward/attach the screenshot. -Team MobileBanking

    Is there any way to create custom UPI ID, because now there is mobile number in the UPI ID. Which reflects in the payment statements if I'm making payment to anyone.

      4. Exact Date and Time of issue (not older than 2 days)
      5. Step by step screen shot of issue/error from login to error page
      6. Handset model, Operating System (OS) and its version

    I have registered for the upi without debit card
    Will i be able to send more than 5000 rupees after the cooling period without the use of debit card through the upi ?

      Hi Faraz,
      We thank you for sharing the error message.
      UPI transaction has a limit of Rs. 1 Lakh or 10 Transactions (calculated on 24 Hours basis)
      Please note:
      1. New UPI users or users who have changed their device/sim card /mobile number can transact only up to Rs 5,000/- for the first 24 hours on an Android phone & 72 hours for iPhone users.
      2. Please note that above cooling period start from first successful debit transaction.
      3. Limit for 1st Transaction is upto 5000.

    Without debit card we can't start and use UPI account ❔️

      Hi Pradeep,
      Kindly ensure the below points before accessing UPI:
      1. UPI/BHIM will only function on the Bank Registered Mobile no.
      2. The Registered Mobile number has to be in SIM 1 in case of a Dual sim phone.
      3. Registered mobile no. should have sufficient balance for SMS to go.
      4. Ensure that registered mobile no. is the default sim for sending SMS.
      5. HDFC Bank Mobilebanking App is updated in PlayStore / App store. Also, as per UPI guidelines, to ensure higher security, the UPI registration has to be completed by User in 30 seconds, beyond that the registration process will drop and the user has to re-initiate the registration. -Team MobileBanking

      when we register anew, one step in the process is to enter last 6 digits or so of my debit card. Being patriotic, AND UNASHAMED about it, I have declined visa multiple times . HDFC personnel in Indira Gandhi square Branch, 100ft road, Pondicherry, insists that HDFC doesnt issue RUPAY cards, though hdfc website says otherwise.
      KINDLY BREAK THE TIE, As I am unwilling to use any card other than RUPAY, and without card, I cannot complete the initial registeration process.

    Worst bank. This video is outdated. HDFC bank app does not have what is shown in this video. HDFC does not have UPI app.
