We did not realize Van was from Belfast, Northern Ireland, a war zone at that time. He sings w/no Irish accent, so we did not find out 'til years later that he was Irish.
You all remind me of my college band, 1976 to 1978. Played in L.A., opened for Jose Feliciano, also played at the Troubadour, Whiskey a Go Go. Inspiring to see young talent doing the same songs we were doing back then. Keep up the great work!
Unfortunately, teenie bopper audiences steer the entertainment industry in this country and they've steered it straight into glitz, glamour, fashion, shock, visual and techno effects and quality of music has gotten lost. If you just isolate the melodies of the so-called "music" by Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, etc., you'll find that the melodies are terrible.
my good friend has been Grammy nominated umpteen times and been on Letterman multiple times, and will NEVER be accepted because her music has the same Christian message.We love watching the God haters dance on the tables in Hollywood until they find out though. Right Lisa!!! fight On Blue Fiddle!
