I know it's a different time, but I would absolutely love to see Luke Skywalker in animation. Maybe a story that happens right after"Return of the Jedi". Maybe a story showing how he was rebuilding the Jedi order. I think that would be something new and different.
Fun idea- Star Wars galactic civil war animated series
All original trilogy characters and same style story telling as clone wars
Also make rebel soldiers and commanders interesting as well.
And make the show lead in to empire strikes back and return of the Jedi.

The problem with this idea is that the comics already done that. If they changed a lot of scenes in a animated series, it will retcon the comics
They should make tales of the old republic, tales of vitiate, tales of Revan, tales of the high republic, tales of the Sith triumphant, and tales of the rule of two.
Sadley they will focus in Ventress or Omega. But I will really love a Rex with his brothers show
It would be cool and ironic if Anakin as Vader would battle redeemed Asajj, would love to see that.
If Dave filoni making new clone series, I think both Rex series and 212th squad/Cody series have 10 episodes like Monsters at Work in disney plus, it could take Rex and Cody turns in every two years, because they went to different path.
Maybe Clone Wars Season 8 is the Clone Rebellion…
There is no season 8 of the Clone Wars, & never will be. Season 7 was the final season, of that series.

@@gvairsoft5994 well to be fair, the show is called the clone wars, the war that happened between episode 2 and 3 and the clone wars ended with episode 3 or the last episode of season 7. i mean you can look at it from a metaphorical angle and say any war that includes a clone is clone wars but who are we kidding here.

I doubt it. Luke wouldn't have spread around the fact his dad was the Emperor's yesman. It was that revelation that cost laia the position of leader of the New Republic. I don't think anyone outside of Laia, Han and chewbaca knew besides luke, maybe R2, but he wouldn't tell anyone.

Rex already knew what became of Anakin. Remember the 501st went with Anakin to purge the Jedi temple before Anakin had the suit but was already vadar. Rex was helping some of the clones leave the empire including members of the 501st. In addition to this, he was in contact with Ashoka and she found out during Rebels. Therefore he knew before Endor.
@@toddtymeson1411 Rex wouldn't have found out about the seige on the temple until after the fact, and the clones there would have ID'd him and addressed him as vader on Palp's orders. As far as we know, Rex never found out about Anakin. Ahsoka never told him, and if he knew before she did, he would have told her.

If we do get to see more of Ventress, I hope that we get a flashback re-canonizing her first fight with Anakin on Yavin IV from the Tartakovsky Clone Wars, because that was some legendary stuff.
Hunter at the end of bad batch looked like he was gonna get his brothers and go start a PMC off some space station, gathering followers as he builds his own home for his mistreated men... and as I'm typing this I realised Rex did that.

Ahsoka Tano (the character) is probably one the greatest character adaptions to Star Wars
i want a clone wars style show that covers the original trilogy, starting immediatly after a new hope, and concluding right before return of the jedi.
Problem there is that there are comics that already filled the gaps. You'd be retconning a lot of material if they change it

I think they should do a series between 8 and 9 since they were terrible and made no sense but had a lot of untouched world building. Maybe it will make them feel less bad

Tbf, with how much the empire was in "Tales of the Empire" I see it as completely reasonable this expect a clone rebellion to be the focus of "Tales of the Rebellion" if they were to name it that.

I want Ventress's return in live action.
If we do get a clone rebellion show, I don't think we'd see Wolfe on the same side as Rex at the start. He is currently going through his 'Crosshair end of season / season 2 phase. Wolfe wouldn't join Rex until he witnesses either Howser or Echo sacrifice themself to save someone from the Empire ( I don't like this because Echo is one of my favorite clones, and Howser had an amazing story for only being a 'new' clone for us to follow) That's why we don't see either of them in Rebels.
I hope at some point the canon unfinished episodes of the clonewars are made in animation.
I mean we still need the actual clone wars rebellion to happen we haven’t exactly got that yet

Dave Filoni said in an informal interview that there will be an animated show taken place right after the Bad Batch which will be cool but live action is were its at. I would love to find out what happens to Omega in live action. I want to see Asaja Ventress an Baress Offee in live action as well as Quinton Voss all 8n live action! They can do this through shows that already exist, make a new show or have them show up in one of the Movies on the horizon. The Ventress we saw in bad batch was after Voss wnd Kenobi placed her body into that green ikter on Dathomir. So i would love to dee what happens if she finds Voss or Kenobi again after that would be awesome. And more awesome if thats all in live action. Let the animation be about the clones and how they helped build the Rebellion. But het my Jedi and Sith out there in live action. That would be super green!

I wish I could care about star wars but for every 1 good thing there are a dozen bad things.
Finoni is the best thing to happen to Star Wars since George Lucas, he's holding it up on his own right now and im hoping finally others will help him bare the weight going forward instead of peddling their own trash ideas.

Lucasfilms as a whole, yes. Filoni's projects will always be better than them though,
Filoni should have stuck to doing animation, that's the only thing he's good at. Ahoska proved that. The show was just _boring_ and utterly destroyed Thrawn as a character, making him as incompetent as any random Imperial. And don't get me started on Ahsoka barely saying more than 5 words every 2 minutes, or Sabine suddenly being force-sensitive and surviving something that _should have killed her_

@@chadgosier4999 Not really, there are hundreds of credits for that show. You should look to his own projects, none of which are terrible like most of the stuff coming out of Lucasfilms since the company changed hands.

Both tales shows were hella mid. They. Barely made an impact as a piece of media, forgettable with hints and drops of entertainment. Tales of empire was mych worse but both struggle.
Even the animated shows are garbage. Fans are deluding themselves if they really think this filler monster of the week trash is even close to acceptable.

Book of Boba and Ahsoka are good too. Dave is the last vestige of George we still have left at Lucasfilms, or rather KennedyFilms as it is now. Do not discount him, he gets way too much heat when Kennedy is to blame. One day good change will come to Star Wars, and Dave will be there doing what Kennedy did not, would not, have not.
