First says it’s $30 then says it’s $23. Which is it?
#1 the price is shown in the last clip #2 the price tag says $30 #3 I said $23 because I thought I had a 30% off coupon I did not so I used a 20% off coupon ... 30% off $30 is $23.57 .... and as stated the last clip says $26 because 20% off $30 is $26 ... hope that explains it and now you can carry on with your day without ever wondering why that lady on RUclips stated different prices ..

I work for a company that resells luxury items. We get them authenticated before listing on our site and I learned that we donate the ones that come back fake to local thrift stores. It’s best to get them authenticated after finding them at thrift stores tbh

I used to get Louis Vuitton and Gucci in thrift stores in Miami. There was one thrift shop that I shopped at a lot named Miami Twice. They had a lot of vintage things, but once in awhile, you could get things that were almost new. I paid $15 for a Louie Vuitton Sarah wallet in pristine condition, $45 for a Gucci Soho bag and I paid $25 for Chanel sunglasses. I also bought Armani suits for my husband that still had the tags attached. I used to love that thrift store. ❤

I know what is REAL and what is fake. I owned 2 high end boutiques. That IS the real deal.
Unfortunately it appears to be a replica. The color of the bag itself is slightly darker than the original, the lining should be red, the hardware should also be a lighter tone of gold but most of these bags in this size for this model have silver tone hardware..other than those things the bag itself is a very good replica. I think for the prize and if it’s actually leather you should enjoy the bag. It’s a very pretty bag.

I worked in a thrift store in my late teens and we would get vintage designer clothes all of the time in house clearances by families who have lost a relative.
It was where I got a vintage Celine bag.
This is what used to be the normal state of affairs in upscale communities that had thrift stores. There was an unwritten community rule of ‘take some leave some’ so that the less fortunate would have the chance at something nice. However “Girl Boss” ruined that unwritten community standard -she called us ‘stupid’ and cleaned out the stores to make millions on eBay …It completely ruined the ambiance of the areas…It used to be fun to shop to look for treasures and ‘buy just one occasionally’ but then it became a mob scene of pickers picking to upmark on secondary markets

The only bag I've ever bought at a thrift store for $23 was a Coach Hobo bag, which I immediately knew was authentic. I've always wanted one and nearly passed it up, but being in pristine condition, I couldnt resist it.
Mostly you find cheap knock offs or just a plethora of junkie purses, but occasionally you get lucky.
That strap doesn't look like Dior. Also, the color of the interior of that bag should be red.
Hijacking this - I own the real thing, have handled vintage - this is definitely vintage / authentic c. 1990, no doubt in my mind.

I found a bag in 5 dollar bin at the end of an isle at the goodwill. This had to have been like i don't know maybe 10 years ago. I spoke to my husband and he said go ahead and get it honey he said it was beautiful and i could use it to put my lunch and items for going to work in. Long story short i got the bag took it to work had a fellow coworker ask me since when did i have 1000 bucks to through away on a bag. I had found a Tumi royal blue outside inside light blue satin numbered with the card on the inside. I took it one day and that was the last day i sold it on ebay for 600 bucks. That money went to bills and groceries i am not a fancy woman. That was my first and last time i found a fancy bag like that. Now they put stuff like that up on auctions on their website.

You really have to search for bargains like this. I bought a 14 carat gold bracelet for $5, a signed limited edition canvas print for $3. Searched internet and it valued at $400, had it framed. I keep photos of all valuable items for insurance,purpose, I keep memory stick in safety deposit box, Along with important papers & passports. You never know when you’ll need it, better safe than sorry.

My mother in law and I always go shopping for bags. The other week we found a Hermes’ bag. Got it checked out and turns out it’s real but they workers took off the original pendant that comes with it so we can’t sell it for much. But the bag comes to about $10k if we had the horse pendant.

I got a Dolce & Gabbana nylon spring jacket with hood, olive green with pink camo details for $18. Couldn't find anything online to compare it with, or what year it debuted. Very good stitching, zipper details, and inside had loops you could drape it like a backpack. Just needed a little clean up on the cuffs and it was good as new. I would love to sell it.

There have been fake luxury bags that look exactly as the original. There are only a few things on the bags that you can differentiate as fake manufacturers are getting good with their craft

This is why I love going to the thrift stores in the East end of my city. The further east you go, the wealthier the people and the bigger the houses get. My friend and I went in a Goodwill out that way once (even though I hate contributing to them 😒) and literally almost every single handbag was a "luxury" brand. Tons of Coach and Michael Kors, Vera Bradley which was huge at the time, Dooney and Bourke, and even some Gucci. We had a field day 😂

I've found many high end purses at my local thift store in the early 2000s. Chanel, Fendi, Balenciaga, and Escada. Unfortunately, ghe purses have now disappeared.

My best find ever was at a goodwill. I found an YSL Downtown Tote, Black Patent Leather. I paid $6. Had it authenticated by ladies on The Purse Forum. I still have it. I bought some designer boxes from Thredup and got super great deals from there also. There was Burberry, Prada, Gucci and more. I need to go back and buy more.

So many knock offs near the Toronto area. They look authentic but come from Asia. Even knock off brand name clothes were Found at Winners in Ontario canada a few years back. I've found real leather purses at thrift store in Ontario saying from Italy. They were real leather but not really from Italy. Either way a plastic bag at big stores costs more. The workers bringing in the donations keep the expensive things. I knew 2.
