Pizza oven is amazing. One of them closed down. The one on Dressler. They said it was only temporary, but nothing shows any signs of them opening back up. Where do you live now?
Great video man. I'm a big fat dude, so eating is definitely a hobby of mine. I almost always just go to Buffet Dynasty when I'm in Canton. When I'm in the right mood I'll go to Long John Silvers. And there's a little place called Hibachi Ninja Express where I get carry-out on occasion. As you can probably tell I'm mostly into Asian inspired food. So I was broken hearted when they closed down Osaka Grill or whatever it was that had the teriyaki chicken at the mall. I ate there a lot. Other than that I mostly just alternate between Taco Bell, McDonald's, KFC and stuff where I live in Minerva. I don't know how to cook so it's a lot of that kind of stuff. My mom grew up in Canton South so she grew up eating Pizza Oven. It's her favorite. But I grew up in Carrollton and can tell you the greatest pizza in the world is Crossroads Pizza. They put sugar in their sauce. I traveled a lot of the world in my 20's (I'm 44 now) and never found a better pizza. Don't go to the one in Malvern by the way. It has the same name, but has different owners and way different food.
I’ll have to try Crossroads Pizza. I have never heard of it. Minerva is quite the small town so I see why you don’t have an abundance of options. A buddy of mine was really bummed out when that place closed in the mall. He loved their teriyaki chicken.
Grinders. Forget Subway, THIS is the place for subs (and their pies are wonderful). Milk and Honey. Killer ice cream, malts, and fantastic tuna melts. Don Panchos. A lot of the Latinos eat here because it's home cooking (and the guy that owns this place is 100% Mexican. I went to high school with him.) However, Don Panchos food may be on the spicy side for some people. Heggy's. Great candy, and one of their sides is butter fries.
We love Grinder's. Good food at a reasonable price. The absolutely best Mexican restaurant is Tlaquepaque. Great food, very reasonable and cheap Margaritas on Tuesday's and Thursdays. Polombo's is getting a little pricy.
@@livinginnortheastohio My favorite was the "Fair's Favorite". It was a sausage sandwich. I guess the sausage supplier went out of business since they haven't had it in years. Now its the Original Eastern, cold.
You can’t go wrong with a sausage sandwich. I don’t think I have ever had a bad one. If you like sausage, you need to stop by Strasburg Meats in Canton. They have the best sweet/mild Italian sausage, I have ever had.
@@livinginnortheastohio I'll have to try it. Our favorite has been Giant Eagle. Pelleschis (sic) was good, but out of business. Tried Gabe's, Dioguardi's, etc. Strasburg meats makes great venison sticks.
Off topic, but my American literature teacher in high school was a Wroblewski. That was in the late 70's. I never heard of another Wroblewski until this video. 🙂
DP Jackson Chophouse in Jackson Township. That gets my vote. Kraus's Pizza - best Chicken and Jo Jo Potatoes. Meldrum's in Canton is unassuming but delicious home style cooking.

For ice cream there is a lot of great options too. Almost haven, country cones, taggarts, new Baltimore the list goes on and on...
I definitely agree with you. We love going to New Baltimore for ice cream, after playing putt-putt golf.
@@livinginnortheastohio where Is new Baltimore located ?
It’s located off of 619, which is also called Edison, in Uniontown. It’s 2939 Edison St NW, Uniontown, OH.
There is the original New Baltimore homemade ice cream on State Route 44 before you hit the fairgrounds too
I have never been to that one. It is better than the one on 619 in Uniontown, or the same?
I would agree with his picks. Of course the prices vary. From below, Pizza Oven is likewise very good.
