I assume they're aim for 'live' show. They'll must be crazy with Fami run around the stage and head banging.. hahaha 😂🤘. Anyway, i love this new EP II whatever others say. I love all their songs.
This song is thrash perfection. This song, Break the Wall, and Dissonance - all 3 thrash excellence, and Asami's vocals in all 3 are leveled off to pull away any power metal feel to allow the thrash elements of the music shine through.
Mariah Carey fan Asami has taken the thrash genre and owned it. Look back at the faster elements of Glory Glory to the World and Judgement Day. All Asami. There are no limits to how far LOVEBITES can advance heavy metal. There is no ceiling. Can’t wait for your reaction to The Bell in the Jail, possibly my favourite song from the EP, though only just!

Indeed, Break the Wall and Where's Identity have a lot in common. Break the Wall is really thrash because of the hard heavy sound of the guitars. Where's Identity is much more subtle, more delicate. Here but the sound of the drums is enhanced, exposed and the guitars placed in the background to the drumming. If I had to choose, I choose Where's Identity🥁❤
Break the Wall and Dissonance are undoubtedly masterpieces. And yet Where's Identidy is better than both of them🥁❤. It is on the level of The Hammer of Wrath and The Apocalypse. This level will be very difficult to oversurpass (although Where's Identity is much more subtle and delicate than the songs You mentioned here and The Hammer of Wrath)

Thrash/ speed metal at its best! They must have needed a fire extinguisher on the guitars and drum kit after that one. I love M.D.O, and this song was an improvement across the board on it, maybe they will make this a regular on their live line-up, it kicks major ass! 🎸🥁🤘🐺🤘
I liked ‘Where’s Identity’ even more because Asami is making a vocal adjustment (especially at certain points in the song, like 2:09) to better fit the style of music she is singing. It’s something different, something refreshing to me. Like when comparing her vocals in ‘Where’s Identity’ and ‘Dissonance’ to some of their older thrash songs, her typical power metal vocal didn’t quite fit songs like Break the Wall and Thunder Vengeance IMO. I don’t like your comparison to MDO. Although I don’t think any reactors have called MDO bad, my thoughts on it are still somewhat similar to the reactions from ‘David Heretic’ and ‘Braindead Breakdown’; however, mine are more critical than theirs. Besides the song being less impressive, there is simply no compensation for it, or nothing that makes the loss compensated for. For that reason, it’s not very good. Also the singing is not as good either. Like even the shouting of MDO just doesn’t work to me; it can come across as somewhat cheesy IMO. On the other hand, ‘Where’s Identity’ and ‘Dissonance’ don’t give me that vibe at all, and are better done in general too. I know I can be critical, but this is my honest opinion. I mean, I could just say every song they make perfect, but I don’t actually believe that. I could say nothing, but I would rather share my opinion. No one has to agree anyway. Besides ‘Where’s Identity’, I also really like ‘A Bell in the Jail’. Another good one from the new EP IMO.
The song just reminded me of "MDO", I was just surprised that no one has made a comment about the similar sound. Music wise I'm mostly fan of their symphonic and catchy meldodic songs. For example "Unchained" is not a favorite from a lot of people, it's one of my favorites from the EP.
@@vaultofart “Unchained is one of my favorites from the EP” Well it’s good that you got it then. I’m satisfied with ‘Bell in the Jail’ and ‘Where’s Identity’. I was actually worried that I wasn’t going to get anything I prefer.
In broad strokes I would agree with this. I enjoy the 3 songs from the EP that were not release prior to the EP more than the 2 songs that were pre released. I like all the different styles Lovebites have done, but was really hoping for a few more thrashy tracks, and I got them :) Plus I adore gang vocals generally so I enjoy "Where's Identify", "The Bell in The Jail" and "Someone's Dream" more than "Soul Defender" or "Unchained" Oddly I have found with Lovebites, unlike many of my other favourite bands, that I need time for their songs to bed in. Many other bands I hear a song through and I know I love it, think it's okay, or don't like it. But with Lovebites it often takes me quite a few listens over at least a few days before my feeling towards a song really settles down. Some of my initial favourite Lovebites songs are mid level for me now, and a few songs I really couldn't get into at first are some of my favourite Lovebites songs. Also I would not normally be a fan of the singing style that Asami uses. It's not that she has a bad voice at all, she's a good singer, it's just not my vocal preference. But Lovebites overall are so good that I was able to get past it to the point where normally it feels like it fits. Also it does add a unique element as some of their tracks are not the kind of music you would generally expect that vocal style with. Plus when seeing Lovebites live in London and when seeing their lives videos it's clear Asami is a pretty engaging and good front women. Either way my Lovebites playlist still beats any other bands playlist in terms of sheer number of songs I think are top tier. Edit: Thinking about it, part of the reason I have mixed feelings with Asami's vocals is likely because Lovebites have quite a range of Metal subgenres they do, compared to many bands have less range within a genre. So it's hard to have vocals from a single singer that sit equally well against every subgenre and song. But that's not to do with Asami having limited range but about the band overall having a lot of range.
I assume they're aim for 'live' show. They'll must be crazy with Fami run around the stage and head banging.. hahaha 😂🤘. Anyway, i love this new EP II whatever others say. I love all their songs.
Does it and has it been any better than this for metal ? Nope , love this band , thank you for your great reaction as always.

A fast-paced thrash track with very interesting backing vocals. Love it !!
Yeah, I really liked the backing vocals on this one.

I love when Asami goes to "angry mode".
Fami's tone is coming from the basement of that bass guitar. The bottom floor. Growling like a bad animal.

great reaction!!this is just a hunch but I think asami wants to see pit!!!tks from toronto!!
When you think it can't get any faster then you hear this banger! Out of this world!
How Fast can you get?
Lovebites: yes ^^
Lovebites gives us an excellent thrash song and it does have the vibe of M.D.O. This song may replace it in concert.
oh my gosh....
this is
break the wall meets dissonance.
oh my gosh....
and asami in chaos mode, 😮
anyway, thank you for reaction.

I hope they surprise us with this song in Dallas
Quick,... next song please 🙂 can't wait for your next reaction.
🔥LOVEBITES RULES🔥
I like Someone's Dream composed by MIYAKO the best on the EP list!
I'm looking forward to your reaction
Someone's Dream is beautiful, of course, but Where's Identity is the best Lovebites song in many years and the best song Miyako has ever composed
I need to see them perform this song then I'll get to truly appreciate it. 👍👍👍👍
nice! love the backing vocals. the first solo sounds like kirk hammett probably miyako
THAT WAS AMAZING hoooooomy God.
The solos..miyako play sounds like kirk hammet while midori play sounds like joe satriani..i guess..they both great..
It's finally happening, they have the big 4 in their crosshairs en coming in for the kill......🤘🤘🤘
Yes, those guitar solos are great, but it's mostly the drum beat that makes this song brilliant
🤟🏻🔥🔥LB🐺2.0🔥🔥🤘🏻
The work share between Midori and Miyako is no longer strictly shredding vs. melodic. At least, that was what they've announced this year...
There is not Miho to stop them, from what they want.
@@VeljkoNikolic-is5px After all, Miho composed songs as this mainly...
