Thank you very much for the video. I was able to replace bulb by watching this video. Much appreciated. If you can pin a comment to press the spring instead of unscrewing, it would be very helpful for people in the future. A very helpful video, saved around 150$
Thank you for this. I always look to youtube before starting something. This was very helpful. I do this on my prius, and it is a huge pain in the backside. This job requires more removal but lots more room.
Thank you sir for posting this video, now several years ago. Still relevant and helped figure out now to do this on my 2012 ES 350 (it has the exact same bulb setup).
your video was very helpful, the only thing you don't have to when pulling out the old bulb is don't unscrew the spring that holds the bulb. Only press the ends together push them in the bulb comes out. Out the new bulb in and turn counter clockwise until it's in place. Then squeeze the spring together and snap back in place.
U right^^ i look at it i can tell. I did all Acura! Lexus! Honda! Toyota. I know. Hid and aftermarket hid. But my aftermarket hid is brighter^^ 55watts. I mods into my friend 2006 Acura TSX! Original is hid but 35watts Change to Aftermarket hid 55w brighter.
You DO NOT loosen the screw holding the spring in place. Instead at the spring ends opposite the screw you pinch them together and they will swing up and away, allowing easy replacement of the bulb. Pinch the spring ends to reinstall it in place.
Sorry to be so off topic but does someone know a method to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid lost my password. I would love any help you can offer me
@Memphis Marco thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and I'm trying it out now. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
yes, for changing the light bulb you don't have to remove a lot the thing on the car. I did my before, it only take me 15 minute to get it done, but thanks for the video
You should be able to change the bulb without taking half of what you took out. Also the spring holding the bulg in is spring loaded . No need to unscrew , just pinch together and the spring should unclip from the bulb. Not the best wearing a white jacket when messing with the car.
You are welcome to post your video to better explain to the general public on how to do this. And thanks for the tip on the jacket. That jacket is my working jacket so i didn't care.
I didn't try replacing the bulb yet. mine only turns off when I turn sharp right at speeds over 25kmph (15mph). since it's linked to turning, I don't think changing the bulb would help or will it?
under what situation does the light come and go? when your car go through some vibration or shock such as from bumps or even the car is idle. did you check for any loose connection in the headlight?
With mine the high beam don’t change and with day lights driver is bright passenger is really dim only a little dot of light at the top not center and with lights on two high beams are on and one and a dot of low beams
No...this guy made it 100x more difficult than is necessary. I literally just got done changing both of my bulbs on my 2007 Lexus GS350 and all you HAVE to do to access the bulb cover is take off the plastic side covers (don’t need to remove the middle cover). You don’t have to disconnect the battery and you don’t have to remove the air filter box when doing the passenger side. It will be a tight fit but unless you have huge hands it is doable. Take off the cap to the bulb area take off the ballast power supply by turning counter clockwise a little bit then unhook the springs holding in the bulb (do not unscrew anything in that area) then the bulb easily slides out and replace with new bulb and do everything I just said in reverse order. Drivers side the only difference is I did have to remove the one bolt holding down the windshield wiper fluid hose to get it out of the way other than that same exact process. Takes about 10-20 minutes to switch out both.
they make it hard intentionally so you will need to bring back to the dealer for it, just like everything else. Or else how do they charge you more money if it is easy to diy ?

Haha...didn't know that. This is my first time doing it.

Well now I’m definitely not doing this. Lots of work to change a bulb.

Thanks so much, you saved my account :D
@Harper Genesis glad I could help :)
Great video sir no need to be nervous man I hate that you are shaking like that you did great
I replaced them without removing the intake filter box and non of the other things. It took me 3 minutes to replace both bulbs.

Show us please.
Did it require all this he’s doing ?
hey man thanks for this, about to replace my bulb and this is super helpful
Please can you give recommendations where you order your lights
i replaced the bulb....the light is on but it now has a hissing sound. can you offer any help?
Too much work for a light bulb. I have an ES350. I am tempted to just remove all of the non essential covers in the engine compartment.

Hey thanks for the video. I replaced my light but now it's making a loud buzzing sound with the new and old one. Any idea what's up?
Lexus sucks for having you almost take the engine compartment out just to replace a headlight bulb 🤦🏽♂️
Thank You! Good vid for Lexus!!
fantastic video , very detailed thank you

Paul Naudé - its not the bulb. It's your ballast control module. You can buy a OEM ballast on Amazon or Ebay for $50-$80
Paul Naudé
is it possible to replace the bulb without removing the air filter box?
yes
No 😂
Yes... idk why this man took the entire intake system off for a bulb.
phillips or harison for replacement bulb?
I probably used Phillips. Whatever brand the original part was.
Thanks man helped alot
I NEED TO CHANGE A LENS COVER ONLY CAN YOU GIVE THEAT INFORMATION ON A LEXUS RX450 2012
I don't own such a car...can't advise.
Are your lenses yellow or discolored? If so, you dont need new ones you just need to wetsand, buff, and polish.
My lights come on and off sometimes how do I know if the bulb need replacement or the blaster
under what situation does the light come and go? when your car go through some vibration or shock such as from bumps or even the car is idle. did you check for any loose connection in the headlight?
No they could go out when parked but when I turn on off they come on really dim and the brighter after a while
OK thanks
I have the same problems i tune on the lights then it goes off on the passenger side
With mine the high beam don’t change and with day lights driver is bright passenger is really dim only a little dot of light at the top not center and with lights on two high beams are on and one and a dot of low beams
According to manual/guide from Lexus, remove front bumper and disassemble headlight unit before replacing bulb. This is much easier way, I think.
Good job!
Is it just me or does the video not finish?
There is a second part. Just search in RUclips
Thanks!
Thank you for the vesio
🎹🔥
thanks a mil.
+David Culpepper My pleasure
This is a over powered Camry. Almost all the parts are interchangeable.
Gotta take half of the car apart just for a damn bulb....thanks toyota
Wow all this just to replace a damn bulb 🤦🏻♂️ thx Lexus 😡
