How did you not have a lie-flat seat in Polaris ? It's a full lie-flat (not angled), so some thing was not right with it. I have flown UA Polaris many times on 763, 772, 789 and 78X ... all are lie-flat and have been for years. Also, why were you in CDG 2A instead of the Star Alliance T1 where UA is ? (Yes, I know AC is still in 2A, but UA moved to T1 back before 2011.)

The seat was broken. Sadly, there were no other seats left in the cabin, so the flight attendant couldn’t move us.

When I cam back from CDG, we thought United flew out of T1, but for some reason they still operate out of 2A.
