As a retired nurse from Australia , whose partner has unfortunately been diagnosed with Stage two N1 Pancreatic cancer…I found this fascinating and very informative…Being realistic …I don’t hold out huge hope for his long term survival! 😢…But great information…Thank you
Great discussion on pancreatic cancer! Have you looked into OncoSil’s targeted radiation treatment? Could be an interesting topic for a future video on non-surgical options.
I believe the professor overlooks the importance of MRI and endoscopic ultrasound in the early diagnosis of PDAC when it is most treatable which can be employed for people who have a genetic disposition or a familial history of pancreas cancer. Instead he wastes his time on hypothermia. Other than that he does a pretty good job although I feel he should have emphasized more the importance of referring patients to a high volume treatment center where the outcomes are better. I am a non-doctor who benefited tremendously by referring myself to Johns Hopkins.
