Thanks for thre great review! I searched the keyboard, and picked it up on Amazon for $39 U.S. Thats like 75% off! Not sure why with all of the great reviews....
I'm in love with this keyboard's design, however, I'm kinda scared of the reviews regarding the keys stoping to work after a while or the swarm software being messy...
really ?? do you have a source for that ?? cause i searched on google and only found one user with a problem regarding keys not working, but that turned out to be driver issue..
unfortunately my 121 aimo - red switches - has broken in less than 2 years of use - which is overall good, as it still has guaranty the issue is that SOME keys like the left shift and left alt are not responding correctly anymore, i need to press them real hard in order to respond, which sucks as i'm mostly using the keyboard for typing, alt+tab -ing, browsing etc. i loved this keyboard really, but i should've went for the brown switches (tactile), as the red ones proved to be "lame" for me. note that i'm coming from blue switches all in all, absolutely amazing keyboard (given you choose a switch suitable for you) i'm sending it back tomorrow, i really hope they won't be able to fix it, and offer me another one - and since the model with the red switches is out of stock on the site, i would choose the one with brown switches
When my mechanical switches had the same issue I changed them and the problem was solved, I also used to clean the keyboard with Isopropil alcohol once in a while.
@@samogx86 right, honestly, when i bought this keyboard i still didn't know much about mechanical keyboards, even though being my 3rd one (first defected after like 5 years, second was too loud - blue switches) - so i didn't check if it's hot-swap or any other details like that. I knew i want a more silent keyboard, and this one looks amazing, and i read good reviews of it, i found it at a really great price, like 70euros so i bought it after all, i sent it back, they haven't repaired it so i got my money back, which is nice. honestly, i wouldn't buy this keyboard again knowing it has this issue - maybe eventually it can last longer with the proper care (as you mentioned), but at this point, as i learned of hot -swap, i would never buy any other type of keyboard PS: changing the switches is not easy on this model, as you need to "melt them" to take them out and "re-paste" them with a special heat gun - i saw a video of a guy explaining it
Looooove my vulcan 121, only paid $40 for it 😁😁
Good Review, keep it up!

a new model has come + many complaints about switch durability. so they are liquidating old stock.
@@mordechai8008 Its on sale for 29 right now. Do you think it's worth buying or are there better options for the price?
