When I was at Barbie Movie, there were parents with children. And when the subject of the movie moved up to the adult stuff I imediatly saw a quarter of theatre how leaved. I was so cringed and thinking "why you brought 5-6 years old kid to a movie that tackle adult subjects". And when the movie finished I stayed in the theatre to listen the music from the credits and a guy was rude to two lady's who were talking about the movie with the staf. That guy said to the lady's something like "Feminism has gone to your head" (if my thoughts are translated corectly) and obviously the lady's got angry and one of them said "It should go into the Ken's World if he is so rude" and they began to laugh and I also started to laugh. Anyway I was emotionaly touched by this movie and after exiting the theatre I wanted an ice cream from McDonald's because I needed something cold to sort the things out. After Barbie I watched Oppenheimer, because I took the Barbenheimer meme as a challenge and oh boy, that movie was a real emotional roller coaster.
The parents brought their kids to a PG-13 movie and got upset that the movie had adult topics? 💀 I’m glad the two ladies shut down the negative dude! It certainly was an emotional roller coaster and I hope you got your ice cream afterwards! A soft serve cone sounds like the perfect ending to the barbie movie tbh 🫡 And I’m glad you enjoyed Barbenheimer 💗💗
@@theflyingarioh Yeah I heard complains from parents that were upsed because Barbie tackled adult issues and was not what they thinked about this movie.
I know this is off topic, but can I just say I think about my celebrity crush a lot, like I would honestly say probably almost 24/7, and to be honest having a crush I think has always been one of my most defining traits, and I had a crush on her when I was a child, and watched her movie series, when I was little too, and can I ask what do you think about me thinking about her a lot?
Even in barbie land Kens weren't treated as horribly as women were treated in the real world , and he didn't even apologize for hurting Barbie at the end , anyway what I find hilarious is the reaction of all the redpill incels to the movie and some pick mes as well , our society will never be free from misogyny and the patriarchy
That part stuck out to me as well! Barbie apologized to Ken for not being aware of how Ken was feeling, but Ken didn’t say anything about turning Barbieland upside down and hurting the Barbies. /: Also yes! The reviews from misogynistic conservatives were so ridiculous I couldn’t take them seriously 😭
the mom and daughter, that's so cute. And yess that montage killed me too
It was such a touching scene! I was bawling like a baby in the theatre 🥺😭
