Yes, I started my in home floral shop for just $99 and you can too. An idea and a crisp $100 bill is all you need to start your new business. Seriously. And I am about to show you how. In fact, if you follow our steps in this video you can actually get your new company off the ground and flying for $99 of initial expenditure. Isn’t that a small price to pay for achieving the dream of owning and making money off of your own business?
Why Starting a Business is Worth It
Look, you don’t need me to tell you why you can or should start your own business. You’re here because you’ve got the drive and an idea worth building upon.
But there are always doubts that creep in early in the process. Doubts which can leave you wondering whether it’s such a good idea after all.
Guess what, though-some of the most successful companies in the world began with a shoestring budget. So, it’s not crazy or impossible to turn $99 into a sustainable life-changing income for you and your family.
Indeed, there are so many more tools and services out there now than there were even a decade ago that it’s much easier to go from an idea to a fully fledged business on your own, and with minimal expense.
But that requires knowing how to get the best tools you need to get up and running at the best price.
If you’re not sure how to get started or what you need (and don’t need) to start a new business, you’re in the right place.

Hi Mrs. Nia , I absolutely loved your content but wanted to ask if you’re offering any courses regarding starting an at home floral business . It’ll be greatly appreciated!
Hello👋. I don’t have a courses just yet. Check back at the end of the year. I’m trying to get as much information for you guys. I’m working on a new series for florist business at home right now.
I worked in a flower shop where we used FTD and it was awful! They show these giant arrangements on their website for like $65 with delivery and the actual cost to make something like that in a shop would be easily double. It was such a pain dealing with them
Omg this is so true. I have been doing FTD, Telefloral, and Bloomnet for the past few months so that I can create videos to let everybody know about them because I get a lot of questions. I have been going through it with these companies. Videos coming soon. I’m trying to figure out how Floral shops can make money. That’s the big question. I know for one thing you need a lot of greenery and alsto. A lot of alsto lol.
@Kristinak.4183 it is soooo true, I worked with Bloomnet for about 6 months and stop, it was just not working for me. Now I have been working with Teleflora for about a year and I'm about to terminate the membership. It's crazy all the fees they charge.
Do you have a video how you set up a Floral next ?
Sorry I don’t. But I may create one in the future.
Thank you so much, How do I get a warehouse location? I want work from home but have a warehouse location like you mentioned
So you can get a mailbox address with a
Virtual mailbox location. I rent out a mailbox for a location for $39 a month. It makes me look like I have an actual warehouse location, but I don’t. I found a location that was in a warehouse district. But here are some examples www.anytimemailbox.com/
Hello! What app/program do you use or how do you track your orders and sales tax etc? I’m currently just a small home business and I’m writing down everything by hand. 😬
Hello Nina, for tax purposes, I use quick book. It’s linked to my business checking account. I’m also able to take pictures of receipts and is stored in the program. For orders, I use three different programs for the Floral Design portion I use HoneyBook and curate. For the Retail portion, I use bloomnation.
Hi, I love your content. I was looking into floranext after seeing your post but I noticed the products on your shop is bloomnation. How has the experience been and why did you switch?
I want to try out bloomnation for my followers. When I did a consultation with a bloomnation rep, the gentleman said that they help with marketing and SEO. I haven’t experienced anything yet because I’m just getting out of wedding season. I plan to test it in December and see how it works. I’ll keep you guys updated.
@@XquisiteFloral thank you for the response. Is their pricing comparable to floranext?
@@mdenzie6836 I plan to do a video next month I’ll keep you updated.
Thank you so much! I started a floral business 1 year ago. I created a beautiful studio in my basement and business has been sporatic in-spite of excellent reviews from satisfied clients. I didn't know where to begin for advertising. Bless you for sharing this info❤
I stated running goggle ads for about $100 per months. I’ll let you know what happens.
Hi 😊
Hello 👋
Hello I need some advice. Just starting to get my website up in running. And the question was. How am I going to do shipping? I have artificial flowers as well as real flowers. What do you suggest that FedEx UPS or should I do it myself?
That’s a good question. I did try shipping but it didn’t turn out so well. I will suggest that’s you look into one of the companies that ships flowers in order from them and basically. Copy their model on a smaller scale. See how they do it. How they package the items. Who they use to ship and go from there. Hope this helps.
Where do you get the flowers from ?
Downtown Los Angeles flower district. But you can get a resale license and purchase from ibuyflowers.com. Your best bet is to find a local wholesaler in your city.
So they pick your designs every picture in the website is what you have to sell or can you add your own pictures
You can add your own pictures.
Where can I get customized flower boxes????
I would try Alibaba or AliExpress. I purchased my boxes from AliExpress and use my cricket machine to put on my logo.
Do they hold your money like FTD and Telefloral
Nope you get your money the next day. They just basically manage the website.
Hi did you know your video at some point it was just silent no voice
Oh no, thanks I will look into it.
Did you establish your business as a legal entity or did you take some time making sure it was profitable for you?
I began as a LLC. I wanted to establish business credit and also I didn’t want any liability.
How can i get a resale license?
You would need to check you location state. Best to Google it. “Resales permit in your state”.

God bless you for sharing your information.
I need to talk with you if that’s okay. I need advice
Sure! I’ll send you a link to my schedule. Please email me.
How much u made a year for doing this
This is not my primary source of income. So I don’t make that much but if you make it your primary source and can sell 10 arrangements a day which is on the low side, you can make about 350,000 a year.
Do you need to do your own marketing ?
Yes you do. They offer email marketing but you have to get the emails.
Is it cheaper to just do a a website on Wix and post pictures of your own arrangements than doing floranext?
Yes it is. If you have the time and the portfolio this is the best way to go. If you don’t have a portfolio, then I would use the premade website.
Hi Nia do you still use floranext if so what do you think about it? Right now I have a domain name but I haven’t found anyone to use I was thinking about floranext or bloomnation. I hope to hear back from you.
Hello Fallon,
I am switching over to bloomnation next month. They claim they have a better platform. I’ll keep you updated and give you an affiliate link for a discount shortly. I’m currently using Floranext.
@@XquisiteFloral thank you. I received a call from Hana today I was also considering their services. But I don’t see a ton of reviews.
