Bloody hell gents those lines had no chance to stay dry - what a days fishing!! Those bloody sharks though 😂 and Stevie on the outboard, absolute gold!! Another epic vid 👌
Next time i see Baxter I ll give him the keys to ma wee Island.....beware its a c#×% of an island .......and fecking cold . We locals call it Scotland .....and your bloody welcome tae it
The access to the camp is probably the worst part as it can only be used at high tide. Oh and the sand flies.... But you have to wait until next episode to see that 😂
Just crossed my mind as Baxter's using a spin reel and Marc was using a overhead reel, never thaught about it and as Im still a novice, Is it for different fishing techniques or what is the difference? Keep up the videos fellas! Great chanel!
Hey mate!! Good question. Some of the overhead reels have a lower gearing so its easier to reel the fish in but not as fast. It can be better for bigger fish but not as good for beating the sharks. In saying that there are plenty of overheads with a quick retrieve as well. For bottom fishing like we were doing I would say it is just more of a preference thing. Cheers for watching! Stevie

Hey mate. It’s a yellowfin plate boat 6m centre console. About a 2013 model from memory but not 100% on that.
Translation "if you bring it up slower has a better survival rate" = reel it in slow and hope for a bigger fish to eat it 🤣🤣🤣🤣
