    Great Video. Very informative thanks. With regards to the FX tab and bass augmentation, does the auto boost frequency mode work by increasing the bass volume as the system volume is turned up? To compensate for bass roll off by the factory head unit at high volumes? I know the AudioControl AccuBass function works like that, and I suspect this is Audiotec Fischer's version of the same thing? I cannot find any info about it on the website, and I emailed them 2 weeks ago to ask. No answer........

    Great videos. Thank you for helping us noobs with getting things set up properly.
    But im having some issues with my Match pp86 mk2 amp, the problem is i think with the IO settings, i can't get the C and D channels to play anything but the rear speakers, even if i only have one input on the IO page i still cant make the front mid's to play.
    I can get the tweeters in front to work fine on channels A, B.
    I have tried using channels E and F instead, but the speakers just won't play for me.
    I have a 8" mid and a tweeter in the front doors and stock speakers in the rear, and a match pp 10e-q sub.
    Any help would be nice because im about to go crazy figuring this out.
    Edit: I can´t seem to set the gain on the amp either, no matter what signal i play on a near max volume to set the input gain i get no clipping light, infact the clip light wont light up, not even green before it goes red to signal clipping like it did on the PP62 i had before.
    Thanks in advance.

    Das Virtual channel processing ist dafür vorgesehen um die elektrischen signale der Quelle zu korrigieren. Das ist perfekt. Dann kann man in dem Outputmenu sich komplett auf die Lautsprecher konzentrieren , da man ein sauberes unverfälschtes Signal hat.

    • @RAW-CAt
      @RAW-CAt  5 дней назад

      You can use it for that as well as the input signal analyser is kind of limited in a way. I am planning to use virtual channels for global EQ,such as changing house curves easily.

    @RAW-CAt my Helix V Eight DSP MK2 does not have the 2nd to the last tab under the IO configuration called Digital Output Routing. I just set everything up last evening. Gotta say, the software is horrible to use with the scroll pad on a lap top. It constantly selects things and drags settings all over the place. The drop down menu for the Output labels won’t scroll with the laptop scroll pad. I would have used a mouse, but I would have had to use some kind of make shift table top in the vehicle and the USB I was using isn’t long enough to have the laptop outside of the vehicle. Was a huge pain in the ass to get set up. Some speakers wouldn’t output sound for no reason. Then after changing the output label and then back again, they would work. Have no idea why? I think if anyone wants to really tune car audio for a hobby they need to sit down with the installers at a shop and have them show what the software can do, because I have followed advice on forums and read the original manual and watched videos, and none of the issues I was having, have ever been covered.

    • @RAW-CAt
      @RAW-CAt  2 месяца назад

      Changing the output label automatically applies HPF and LPF to the driver. That might be the reason for no sound🤷 I personally use a laptop with a mouse pad with no issues .And to be honest, I never heard anyone complain about the software... Sorry your experience is different.

    Hello!! Would you be so kind as to make a video adjusting the gains of the audio source and amplifiers using the helix pro mk3 dsp and using an active treble, midrange, low midrange and subwoofer system???? Thank you!!!!

  • @uos64

    It feels like that Virtual Channel Processing is pretty useless because RTA, Time Alignment and EQ is happening with Standard Processing.

    • @RAW-CAt
      @RAW-CAt  4 дня назад +1

      The only use for virtual channels that I can think of is to make global EQ for example.if.you want to adjust your final response.

    Hello, hoping you can answer my beginner question on setting up my Helix. My input signal will only be via the Helix HD bluetooth module...streaming music from my cellphone. Do I need to still adjust volume to 90, adjust input gain, watch for clipping, for A-F at all in this scenario ? I know this is the analog method, but I am just not certain for bluetooth via the Helix manual. I'm feeling that I don't as bluetooth is a digital source?

    • @RAW-CAt
      @RAW-CAt  Месяц назад

      No, digital inputs do not clip unless you increase channel gain above 0dB.

    Hi, I have a question:
    Let's say that I wanted to use the high-level inputs (with load jumper removed, so higher voltages), but also wanted an aux source for G+H cinch/RCA (in a different profile), would that be possible?
    What I'm curious about is if I were to set the remove the jumper on a device such as the helix ultra to enable higher voltage inputs to be used (12-32V), would that cause issues for G+H aux inputs as the gains will be different even if one were to set the aux to those channels in the DCM?
    Thanks

    • @RAW-CAt
      @RAW-CAt  2 месяца назад

      As long as you don't use the same inputs for high level and low level, it will be fine.

    So what if my input from PC is connected by Digital, but with a C-type USB port out to my Amps? Not using the built in Audio Chip on the Motherboard which would be analog. I see no option in the Digital Input Activation for that. C-type is really very popular these days. Coaxial on its way out.

      No, not really. However, you have input EQ for fixing the factory Signal. Aftermarket radios, BT, optical and coax have a flat not altered signal, so there is no need to have separate presents for different sources.
