JASP Tutorial: JASP Online (through RollApp) (Episode 51)

In this JASP video, I walk through how to use JASP fully online, through a service called RollApp. RollApp is a freemium service that app companies can bundle both free and paid services.
Two things to note:
1. The version of JASP will lag the most up-to-date version offered through download.
2. The RollApp side of the service is lacking. You have to connect a cloud-based drive service, like Dropbox or Google Drive, and with the free Starter plan, at the time of recording/writing, does not allow saving or opening data files directly into JASP through the online functionality. At the very least, I was getting a ton of errors.
At this point, if you need an online cloud-based statistical service, my recommendation is Jamovi Cloud. Either that or switch your ChromeBook for a more powerful computer!

NOTE: This tutorial uses the new preview/beta build of 0.17. This build contains slightly more functions/features than the previous builds used for tutorials on this channel, but it is functionally the same for the purposes of this tutorial.

That’s a great question! For now, my two videos on the subject pretty much answer all the points most people have, except maybe for the online feature, so unless they become really different or expand in some considerable way, probably not for a while
