In reality there are no actual proofs of sacrifices in Minoan Crete, the work of Sakellarakis which proposed that there was a sacrifice in the site of Anemospilia is controversial and hasn't reached the academical consensus while was heavily criticised by most experts of Bronze Age archeology. Of course in exceptional events like a fall of a civilisation many things could occur, but there are no actual proofs of a ceremonial sacrifice. Christianity and in general the Abrahamic religions killed more persons in the name of the "True" God than any other religion in human history.
