Fun fact: Modern sloths are also surprisingly good swimmers(better than me honestly).

Funny how they seem to move better in water than on the ground or trees

The sloth family is pretty amazing. Going from being hunted by whales to saber tooth’s to harpy eagles.

From a shark standpoint, if megalodons did feed on these sloths, it would probably be sub-adults who mainly fed on them. Though I imagine an adult wouldn't pass one up as a snack. Personally didn't know a lot of things you covered in this video. Well done my friend.

This is why the sloths could have stayed around and become super well adapted if not for the great change in weather

If it weren't for the union with North America, the animals would have destroyed The South American fauna, before we had terror birds dominating here, then came the big cats

I dont like how people keep putting smilodon in documentaries and say that its interesting , while neogene and paleogene animals are legit triassic level weirdness yet theyre almost never included

I didnt know a sloth could go in the water, I thought it would drown. But it's an agile swimmer it appears. I like how it's always been lazy in both environments lol

This question may not relate to this topic but my 15 year old has a question
Ask edge that I have two questions 1. Is how thick and strong is a triceratops head and horn, did they really use them for defense and which triceratops species has the best offense and defense when it comes to fighting if there bad at defense then which one has better fighting abilities and greatest weaponry to fight the T. rex and other dinosaurs. 2.Ask him this to is this really a different species of ceratopsian dinosaur or is just a triceratops or it is a triceratops but a different species of one
