An astonishing and very enjoyable little machine altogether.. Been flying one (On Rotax engine) in the French Alps and Jura mountains for a few years now. Tough, capable and very different in design and specifications to whatever it may look like…
This looks a lot like a Zenith 750 with a different Flap system. With this flap setup it may be a better choice for STOL work. And the Thrust numbers numbers of the D-motor has to be better than the Rotax for short take off. Very impressive setup if the craftsmanship is that of a zenith.
if it comes as a tail dragger id be interested. do wish it had a bit higher speed in the top end but I like everything else about it. glad it dosent have an awful center stick.
don't underestimate tricycle gear for a stol aircraft as long as the main gear has a good wide stance they can be better that a tail dragger, a bad bump causing a ground loop in the middle of nowhere could be game over. not to mention soft terrain is much less likely to flip a tricycle gear plane.
Want to enjoy this but, the close captioning is in French and I am in the United States. So sorry. Would appreciate translation to English in close captioning. Respectfully Ron, (“in Utah”), USA
How is this thing anything like a Zenith besides 2 seater trike STOL aircraft? almost every single element is moderately to drastically different. so where the wings meet the fuselage they look similar, but then you may as well say Zenith stole from the Hornet that was 4 whole years before the Zenith. Fun fact, when people try and design something to do a specific role, engineers regularly come up with the same solution. Its why TV remotes all look very similar.
@@rjc0234 wheels too....watches, hats, shoes, and your fav hamburger and French fries, which, BTW, aren't even "French ",...It's said that this dish was discovered by American soldiers in Belgium during World War I and, since the dominant language of southern Belgium is French, they dubbed the tasty potatoes “French” fries.

Same address as Fisher Flying Products, did Dave Hertner get a roommate?

Then go to settings and change it to English.

Video said they've been making them for 20 years in europe.
