I’m a guy with a high voice, countertenor, the highest range for a guy, and I hate it. I sing and people enjoy listening until I speak and then they look surprised. It’s been a blessing and a curse.
You’re a rarity. Embrace it. I’m a mezzo, more common than a soprano who thinks they’re a real soprano 😆
I have a high voice too. I also am a countertenor and have been trained, and can hit soprano notes. Lol. It used to bother me a lot, but now that I’m much older I don’t care anymore,
I can relate. I am a woman with a very low voice. I was assigned to sing with the boys back in high school 😢

Hearing a grown man with a voice of a pre-pubescent boy voice is genuinely unnerving but at least he made the best of his situation
I bet he would do well as a voice actor. I wonder if he can do falsetto, and how high he can go. Somebody write a cartoon for his voice.

My voice is too deep at around 45 hz I feel like you'll get made fun of for almost any way for someone to sound when I was in middle school I was made fun of literally just because I talked quiet. You'll get made fun of for sounding too deep, sounding too high, sounding too quiet, sounding too loud, sounding too nasally, and sounding "average". I'll just say this I believe everyone who has a voice has a beautiful voice
People seem to always pick out differences in other kids.
I have normal voice, people still found a way.

Still haven't darkened the doors frame of A VA other than when my dad had his Heart attack. He survived... but I still refuse to allow the federal government another chance to die for my country.... (running joke about the VA) i have good insurance through my employer

My brother enlisted at age 17 to finish high school. He went through basic and found himself in the middle of the Vietnam War as a door gunner on the H1 Huey. Also, he was in the middle of Agent Orange. He was a top dog on the USS New Jersey, which has been restored again with his photo and detailed description of his military career hanging in the Captains quarters. He died last year.
God rest his soul. You will meet again. We are Infinite consciousness.

That war was so divisive, and many people still have strong feelings about it. Compassion and grace for all whose lives were affected by it. May he rest in peace.

My problem is opposite of his. He's a man with a high voice, I'm a woman with a low voice. I was once asked over the phone if I was a boy or a girl. But, hey! I can sing tenor or high base.

I feel your pain about your voice. I was told by a doctor after calling him at night that I have a voice that's good for 1-900 calls because it's so throaty. I've seen your shows before and you have a great sense of humor.

I took an Uber to urgent care not too long ago. I wrapped gauze around my thumb (still attached to my hand, I ought to point out), put two neoprene gloves on that hand for pressure and containment, and brought a hand towel just in case.

I can relate. As a dude that always sounds like i'm in gradeschool, I try to sound manly but people sees this as I'm a faker and when I speak in my real voice I get called sissy or gay. Sucks balls big time.

When i first clicked, the voice caught me off guard but honestly it's only at certain points it sounds really high, at others, you don't notice it as much.
