Tandem Scrapers in Action

This video showes two Tandem Scrapers in actin as they excavate the parking structure at the USC Village and transport the soil across the jobsite and dump it in the footprint of Building 6 which will become the dining hall and dorm.

They are not tandem scrapers. They are pushpulls. The front hook is not a hook, it's called a bail.

No, a scraper with two engines is a twin engine scraper. Scrapers with a elevator chain to load is called a paddlewheel by operators. Scrapers with no elevators are called force loading Scrapers. They usually work with dozers pushing them to load.
