    Staying at the Fairmount is like staying on a cruise ship in the mountains. Even if not staying there, you can visit, eat, and hike on the frozen lake.

      I visited in March too. Great mountain. Lovely scenery. Banff is a fun ski town.

      I definitely want to see SRG cover it directly, but there are a few references to it in some of the Canada videos here, and PeakRankings has a pretty solid 15m review about the facilities and snow as well.
      Just a note I picked up from the SRG guide to EPIC vs IKON though, I agree with SRG that you do have to factor in the seasonal weather when doing Whistler.
