    Appreciate this post. I'm looking at these to get an overland functional solution... I see you responded to others there's no noise... Is that with the wind fairing, or without? Thanks!

      That’s with the included wind fairing. The fairing is part of the front most cross bar. Very clean and tidy!

    how's the wind noise?

      @EmbarkWithMark  7 месяцев назад +1

      None existent! No one who rides in the car can tell we have a roof rack on. Even when we drive though 70-80mph gusting winds, which we do get in our area.

    How has the paint held up over time? Have they faded?

      The paint has held up great thus far. No fading either.

      This is carbon, they do offer a stainless steel option though.

    Ok so were they quieter? By how much?

    • @EmbarkWithMark
      @EmbarkWithMark  2 года назад +1

      We don’t even notice they are installed. There is zero perceivable noise. Very good product.

    Thats becouse the hole in the bar... same with me puting a Light bar di my roof and the chanel betwen my light bar and roof singin loud in high speed

      Yea, I believe it’s due to the holes, the height of the bars, and no wind deflector. 😂 but the LFD crossbars are really nice.

    • @EmbarkWithMark
      @EmbarkWithMark  2 года назад

      Though the LFD crossbars have holes in them as well, but are mounted way lower and has a wind fairing.

      My LDF front plan cross bar on a stock 4runner would whistle at 63-65 mph and then go quit at any other speed...as other have said its a hole so it whistles.... black duct tape solved that problem. I tried and tested both to plan crossbar and the Integrated Wind Fairing Ruggedized Crossbar... only the plan one whistles but i added tape tape to the the front 2 of 4 crossbars.

      @@shastatbeans7608 Ah, yea, mine (with the fairing) does not whistle at all, regardless of what I have installed or not installed on the rack.

      Certainly wouldn’t hurt. I moved on to load bars from LFD. Well worth the money.
