I honest to god believe justin isn't that morally sound. In comparision to the hollycouple, sure ,but my Unpopular opinion is why was this man going around for 2 yrs trying to make a movie out of a book that glamorizes ab*se!?! Evn with so many women raising alarm about the books impact on impressionable mind ever since. It seems he is now trying to do damage control or play silent victim ,and lucky for him both idiots blake and ryan are making it easy for him. The book is the problem in the first place. Wouldn't that mean justin was as tone deaf as blake.
@@Oceangrace90 he's been trying to get this movie done for 5 yrs cause of the work on empowering positive masculinity that he's been doing for the last decade (with charity work, w his TED talk, w his podcast & interviews, w his book) on how men need to call out bad behavior instead of covering for each other. the movie's pretty clear about breaking bad cycles regardless of how the book reads
Its impossible to get a movie about this topic made for theatrical release unless you have an inbuilt audience. The fact that Colleen Hoover had an extremely successful book on a subject he's been trying to address for years, is why he went after the book. Plus getting the movie right would have fixed the damage Colleen has beem doing to her readers. Its clear he was attempting to address the issues in the book, even hired a DV non-profit to consult on the set. But turns out Blake thinks just like Colleen and once she took over, it went back to Colleens original vision. And now she and Colleen are besties and he's left trying to to fight for his original vision
This poor guy comes across as someone who was way too nice and ended up getting bulldozed by Blake’s ego, the fact that her husband was rewriting lines without consulting anyone says it all.
He made the movie with love, respect and honesty and that made all the difference. Whether you like the movie or not or, he comes from an honest and genuine place. A true class act. ❤❤
He seems so kind and genuine. He always gets questions about the rest of the cast, but they never ask the cast about him. They haven't said anything about him or ryle in any of the interviews I've seen
I don't! He's a winner regardless of how Blake acted. If anything I feel sad for her, her rudeness and awful character will cause her career to end and I'm here for it
So basically he took the movie rights from Blake and Ryan Renolds. I can see a 'suits' or 'the morning show" kinda drama happening where it's a "race for the rights". There's a whole battle happening on the cellphone between PR + lawyers + finance people on both sides and there is a lotttt of shit, and now this guy somehow bags the Johnny Depp PR team coz Deadpool cost too much money, so he's obviously winning the PR game.
I feel sorry for the main actor of her last film Justin Baldoni who is the director of the film and holds the rights to adapt the book to the cinema. She acts he doesn't exist in a very disrespectfully and unprofessional way. He shows the reality of the film and speaks out against domestic violence very accurately. Very disrespectful for this actress who wanted to take over his film he has been working for years. He talks about domestic violence, she's more about selling the film like Barbie with flowers and selling the beverage products and hair products along with the film's premiere. And the book writer selling nail polish and coloring books. He is a class act, mature with high emotional inteligence. His interviews of the film are the best.
They made two cuts, one was Blake's and the others was Justin. Although the audience chose Justin's cut, Blake was able to override this and push her cut into theaters instead.... Which is the film in theaters now.
I don't like him. I think he is behind the bashing Lively is getting and I can't stop wondering why the cast has isolated him. It makes me believe that the rumors of him being abusive on the set are true
Dude, are you serious??? When has she ever said anything nice about Justin??? Or thought to bring up DV awareness. She was more concerned with promoting her alcohol ☠️
Are you for real? She objected to a long kiss, had her husband rewriting a scene, took over her own styling in the movie (with not great results), and took offense when he asked about her weight to protect his injured back and prepare for lifting her. Blake created problems and isn't promoting the movie with him.
Actually Justin has never had any bad blood with anyone he has worked with. Blake on the other hand has a history of beefing with her coworkers (Anna Kendrick) for example. Everyone is just sucking up to Blake because her and Ryan play a big role in the industry.
@@magicmya yes, I'm very serious. I'm Always very serious when speaking of topics such as sexual harassment, abuse, bullying etc. And what you said has nothing to do with what I said, which Is not about the promotion of the movie.
@@Cassandra.695.11 and yet in this case It appears that he is the one who has beefs with everyone. Crew members have said that Baldoni "created an 'extremely difficult' atmosphere behind the scenes for the entire cast" and that Blake was "noticeably antsy on set".
He’s actually looking at the interviewer attentively and answering the questions courteously. Mad respect
If the cast issue was about 'creative differences', not in any interview of Justin Baldoni did he throw any shade against Blake. What a class act!❤️

What a gentleman....pure class. A rare breed indeed considering all the drama surrounding the movie. Hes a Legend ❤❤❤❤❤

Blake Lively was the Executive Producer of the movie. They tend to have a lot of power over how a movie is made.

My respect goes to Justin, this man is a true gentleman and professional to his work. I'm a fan. ❤
He really seems like a very genuine guy !!
He’s such a good person, wish I can say more about Blake!
He seems so kind and genuine. He always gets questions about the rest of the cast, but they never ask the cast about him. They haven't said anything about him or ryle in any of the interviews I've seen

Such a great and heartfelt answer. Love that ❤

You can tell he respects women. No shade no diss. Wish Blake knew her responsibilities not only as an actor but also a producer
I truly respect this Gentleman ❤

Absolutely excellent movie!!
Sadly others didnt had the proffesionalism that Justin has
So much drama would have been avoided if they didnt act like spoiled brats

Amazing
Thank you for the reading!

You can hear the hurt in his voice.
Blake - Genius? Good lawd poor Justin is really frightened of losing his hard earned place in Hollywood 😢
I guess when your husband is Ryan Reynolds, you think everyone is ought to dance at the music you play. NOT!!!
So he took the movie rights. Got it
beautiful movie, but the cast(not justin but the rest) messed up by bringin their drama in public. and not the media is taking advantage
On a related note, is the film any good?!
good question, i wanna know too
I don't know if you should promote a movie about DV on a program like this one....
justin is a pro the rest of the cadt not so much by avoiding talking about justin they created drama and damage the moviw
A ver quien hable español dígame el chisme xfa
Everything she touched she made better? So what's the problem?
the movie had terrible dialogues. very simple minded script. the whole attention is strange.
