When I heard the end of Flamethrower and it turning electronic I immediately hoped that the next album would be a kind of electronic version of PDA, so cool that that's what it's going to be.
@@scullyitsme123 there we go, and honestly i find it funny cus they literally say the next albums gonna be electronic in this interview but Tim totally doesn't pay attention and the conversation just passes over it lmao
Lucas is the most wonderful man and managed to get a poster signed by the guys during the weather delay at Red Rocks. The entire band walked by several times and Joey totally brushed against my shoulder. That happened. Best anniversary trip ever.
I know most people think this about their fav bands but these guys really seem down to earth,in it for the love of music& playing, really appreciate their fans. Some bands understandable go a little crazy touring so much but these guys seem to lean into it & have fun
This is great. Thanks you! I humbly suggest that Tim collab with King Gizzard on a piss-chugging inspired version of The River and call it The Yellow River.
@@MrCustom05 found out through this week's episode he's in The People's Joker. I had the opportunity to see him tear it up on the big screen and blew it!
Love to hear Joey and Luke talk! For the dude asking how to hear odd time signatures I'd say to get familiar with 1/4 and 1/8 notes. Learn to tell them apart, start by counting the quarter notes, or where you'd likely strum down on a guitar. Up strokes are usually 1/8 notes
I have been a Tim & Eric fan and King Gizz fan for a bit, and I've always known about Office Hours, and I'm not sure how I haven't been watching this. Thanks for the perfect combo to get me to become a fan. This podcast is the perfect one for me, I'm realizing. Fucking hilarious and still informational, somehow...so yeah thanks.
Hilarious that Tim H goofs on how people dance at shows. I saw this guy at a Malcolm Mooney show (original singer in Can) in NYC. People were JAMMING and Tim H was staring at his phone the whole time. What a dork!

Thanks for having King Gizzard in. They are extremely talented great people!
Proud Melbournian here! Seen them 10 times here in their home city. Amazing band! My favourite of all time

IKR!!!
Lazy bums! 😂
Missed Doug on there he knows how to to talk to these young rock band types
You don't really notice his importance until he's gone. This episode had zero witty puns and so the vibe just wasn't able to reach full potential.

The live version of Raw Feel at Miller High Theater is kind of close imo, just quite a bit.
