Intoxicating soundtrack of V4. Sold my 1999 non vtec this year due to skeletal problems. Owned for 21 yrs . Never a fault. Tyres, oil, filters, plugs and brake pads, thats all And 1 battery but kept on optimiser. Put bar risers and lowered footpegs but at 63 had to give in. Got a sit up and beg now. Miss it everyday, as soon as I got on it I just wanted to go. Did tours with mates on sports bikes bmw s1000rr, not that much in it on the road considering its age. Certainly not £16k difference. Finish of bike was almost as new. bought for £5500 in 1999 and sold for £2500 in 2020. Not bad eh. Listening to vlog made my heart patter

Great vid, thoroughly enjoyable. I've been riding my 2015 VFR800F, 8th Gen to work each day. It's a fantastic daily commuter as well as being a sports tourer. The fuel economy is not anywhere near as good as my CBR600F4I but I feel safer on the VFR because its absolutely rock solid on the road and has ABS which is comforting given the wildlife around. VFR800F as a commuter? Can't go past it! Bloody bewdiful mate! 😀✌️👍

What mileage do you get from both? I currently have an 06 F4i and was considering a VFR800F as an upgrade but I am expecting a better fuel economy from a newer motorcycle, this is one of the most important aspects for me because I want one for commuting. Thanks

Very complete review. I will own this bike soon, only it will be a low mileage pre-owned bike. Can’t think of a more rounded bike available. Had a 1200S Bandit that I put 55,000 miles on and feel that a sport touring bike is the best of both worlds. Comfortable enough for touring and sporty enough to keep you interested.

Thanks for the VTEC review! I had a VTEC Anniversary model, and it was a harsh kick, many times in a corner, which was unsettling. There is no desire for a ‘kick’ on a motorcycle, so glad to see the 8th Gen is smoothed out!

Hi, it's a good video. I'm glad to see how u like the Interceptor. I have a VFR800f from 2015, and it's kick in with the V-tec. Such a pity, as they found it as a problem this... I love it. Feels like u turn on the burst on a rocket... A bit... Try in gear 6. Maybe. When u just accelerate it not feels as diff. But go with 98, then around 103 miles it's turning on. U will feel.

Congrats on the structured review. You can tell you haven’t got all details down about this bike, and lack some experience, but it was honest and well put together. I did find it funny how you mentioned things like the bike has double disc up front and a horn and a kill switch. For this kind of bike that stuff goes without saying, right, and would only be worth mentioning if it lacked any of these attributes. Anyway, respectable job and keep m coming! The VFR is heavy and underpowered for today’s standards, but it’s absolutely brilliant, regardless, who else can do that?!? ;-)

The self cancelling indicators are a bit hit and miss, at speed changing down gears and making a decent turn they cancel after a few flashes, if you're just changing lanes at any speed it can take quite a bit longer, if at all for them to cancel, the system 'reads' the difference in wheel speed front and rear from the ABS sensors, to decide to work, not always accurate.
The original VF750 from 1983 had self cancelling indicators that worked on a 5 flash timer/counter, you learned to adapt.
Oh there isn't/ wasn't the Combined Brake system on this current generation VFR, just the ABS system.
Great review of a great bike.
    Keep going with it.

New is impossible to find here. This 6th generation is still nice current looking with its sharp shape, angles etc... Look new and sexy in the low price range. Linked Braking rather than ABS on all of their bikes over 600cc.
    Instrument panels without connectivity
    Non-Adjustable wind screens
Bikes that are so hot and uncomfortable in Summer
    Unadjustable suspensions (cheap components)
    No dynamic suspensions
    No ride height controls
No dynamic headlight or cornering headlights
    No advanced anything
Cheap to produce underpowered parallel twin engines that are the lowest power in each class, Open class, Mid size class, doesn’t matter Honda is LAST in power ratings.
Honda is a Has been Company.
Honda hasn’t made anything worthwhile since 2015.

Thanks for the comment. This was one of my first videos and I Only had the drone a week at that point however, when you learn how to create footage you often go past the subject or you pull back towards the subject to reveal it or you go towards and then leave it. Many many ways to film with a drone. I prefer hand held to show the bike as I do in my other videos.
