I had this on VHS too! Thanks for reconnecting me with 7 lost minutes of my childhood!!...wow...I've been reciting the lines the whole time...kind of mind blowing...
@DJCandyManMike I have it somewhere. It's got Goofy Goofy Gander on it, as well as a Baby Huey, one where a bear is helped out by Jack Frost, and an episode of Woody Woodpecker where he is starving in a shack in winter
@dimlightbulb10 The one I have that has this on it (as in the same intro and outro as on here) also has "Scrappily Married", I think "All's Fair At The Fair" is on it, and and "The Kids In The Shoe" may have been on it also. The one with the different intro and outro, which also didn't cut the drawing of the coffin on the cat, also has "Scrappily Married", "Cheeseburglar", and "Hep Cat Symphony".
lol, they cut him drawing a coffin around the cat! I guess they don't want the kids plotting murders these days. Warner Bros always had crazy people doing ridiculous things to each other (explosives, gizmos, overblown weapons, cheap fighting tactics, etc), but how come they seem more slapstick and Hoi-mun seems more ... Sadistic?
Have not seen Hermann and Catnip since 1973 as a 4 yr old. Thank You!

@packymayonaise I had this on a VHS that had 6 hours of old cartoons on it. I loved every single one
"Alls well that ends in the well". Absolutey brilliant.
compared to the tv shows today, these cartoons kick ass!!!
Tom and Jerry, when they hadn’t quite figured it out yet.
Arnold Stang. What a legend. I just thought these characteristics came from Top Cat, but it seems to me now that he did that throughout his career.
GOD! I love a good old cat and mose cartoon!
this was probably the most memorable childhood cartoon episode....... its actually kinda creepy!
I love Herman. xD
same here like on a huge collection I think

Me, too. I just watched it on here in fact. It was nice to see it again after so long.

Memories!
The original Tom and Jerry
@dimlightbulb10
I had it on two of them. Each had a slightly different intro and outro. Too bad it's hard to find these nowadays.
@DJCandyManMike I had that first one. I loved "All's Fair at the Fair"
@bugs1987 Looks to me like an editing error that happened when the cartoon was made.
Big Tom and Jerry clone
