Holy crap you did it. You made my brain accept subnetting.
your way of teaching is one of the best I've come across. Thank you.
As soon as CIDR notation and finding subnets between networks and hosts emerged, this became very complicated for me. I appreciate the way this topic has been broken down.
Just wanted to say that this is the video that finally made it click for me.
Damnit... I haven't eaten all day and I am trying to learn and a pizza is on my screen :(
lol
That pizza was really distracting! lol
I skipped it so fast
Lmao I've been on a calorie deficit last 3 weeks for holidays, and my entire body craved that pizza. Almost started licking my screen
kudos to this professor ,i really owe it to him for understanding subnetting
Your videos have helped me IMMENSELY in my studies, thank you!
Thanks so much for your support!
Your videos are really helpful, I am new student in the IT support industry and this makes things much easier. THANK YOU
Professor Messer is the 🐐
Explaining things in a simple and understandable way is a valuable skill!! THAnk You Sir!
my head hurts but these examples really help cement the "math"
Thank you professor messer
I've watched a couple different videos from different people but they didn't really break it up the way you did so I was confused about how to get the subnet bits thank you very much 🙏
omg, I finally understand. Thank you Professor!!!
This was very easy to follow! Thank you so much!!
thanks for this. learning this has been a bit overwhelming but your videos are helping.
Watching this before my 2 year degree in network security. Hoping to be able to utilize this information to easily pass my classes and the network+ and sec+ exam
الله إرحم لك الوالدين. تعلمت الكثير منك. Thank you so much sir
Really helpful great video thank you wish i saw this sooner
Your vid is really helpful. Many thanks to you brother
Great video!!
Got the info I was looking for. Comptia did not break it down like this. Thanks.
Thank you very much!
Can DHCP and subnet masks clash? What if my assigned DHCP range and subnet mask are not aligned? What would happen?
I understand. Just have to make it stick. Thank You!
Thank you professor
Very nice thank you
Obrigado professor! Estou estudando para certificação através dos seus vídeos. Sou do Brasil!
saudações, estou estudando português e também estudando essa certificação
@@jonathancontreras633 sério? Que legal. Podemos nos ajudar. Também estou estudando inglês
@@jonathancontreras633 que legal amigo. E eu estou estudando inglês.
Wow! Very interesting
Is this something that IT professionals currently do in their day to day work? Manually calculate subnets? It seems like the hardware or software would do that automatically for you.
Will I need to memorize the exponent values table at 6:32 for the Net+ exam?
You will need to know how to subnet an IPv4 address, and that may require you to use or memorize one or more tables. There are many different methods and shortcuts, and there are additional videos in this series with shortcuts and quick ways to calculate these values with or without pre-written tables.
best video
