Thanks Rich for the reasonable explanation of the raccoon incident at the park. I'm a wildlife rehabilitator and your assessment makes total sense, especially seeing how young that raccoon was. He's a young juvenile and they can get brave and sassy, just like our teenagers. And yes, having hundreds of people invade what was your peaceful home can be upsetting. Seeing them out during the day is common and doesn't mean anybody's got rabies etc. Sometimes they're just curious.

Really appreciate this comment 💚 means a lot I thought it was definitely a juvenile by the footage and all the research I did I found this incident to be a very common thing. Especially with the crowds that day I believe when you corner a raccoon it feels stress and will react in defense it felt troubled

@@ThemeParkMotivation Absolutely. At one point in the video you can hear him let out what is a fear cry. He's jacked up and scared and like kids do, not making the best decisions. He should have stayed away but we'll never know if his actions were fear/defense or mischief based. They are full of mischief at that age but would never "attack" unless feeling threatened. The good thing I hope will come out of this is that people reconsider trying to make these wild animals "pets"; that's when the real problems happen. They are wild animals always. Thank you for giving this incident a proper perspective Rich.

I think I was in line when that happened. I was one or two rides away from getting on and they stopped the ride, had everyone leave and they specifically told the people behind us in line not to go back through the line but to walk through the ride and go out the exit. I thought I overheard someone say there was a raccoon on the track which seemed weird but now it makes sense
