Thanks kb for doing a Morris brown video. I went MO B from 2000-2003 and in that 2000 year morris brown was playing more Swac teams so they had to advance their book. They learned very quick from this battle that they had to tighten up but as far as the field show was concern they could go up against anybody including southern and famu. Fun fact: 2000 was the biggest freshman class MO b ever had, the band went from 200 to 300 plus so alot of those deductions came from the freshmen who had to used to the system 2001 year they were on a roll just wanted to let you know but salute to u kb

Also I never thought Texas Southern play Torture in 2000. I first heard them play that my senior year in high school in 2016.
The arrangement at 17:44 is a Bach Fugue in G. Amazing talent to write this for a band.

You should play the 5th qtr battle the week before when MBC played SU for SU's Homecoming. Totally different band that day.

I was there. I talked the percussion instructor for Morris Brown at the time I think. They called him Spike. He did a menace to society on me. He said Damn I didn't know they was coming like that.
Morris hasn't been the same since that game the next year they can to Norfork this was the two school first ever meetings. Did gym battle Friday night game Saturday we welcomed them to Shark City ate a whole in they ass. And the DRUMLINE movie was a recreation of the first meeting. We were the so called flight of the bumble bee. All Meac bands were in the movie except The Legion. They wanted play with no pay. Doc Sandford I guess said no way. All is on the tube.
