That sounds fantastic ! I just ordered the Pontus II 12th today. Puting together a very nice desktop system with the Pontus, Aune S17 pro (pre plus headphone amp), two Fosi Audio v3 mono's and the Elac Carina BS 234.4... I ordered the dac blindly without ever having heard it. Should arrive soon. Hearing how truly beautiful your system sounds, just confirms to me I made the right choice. Thank you for the compliment. I appreciate it. I’ve been into HiFi for a long time. I’m always looking at getting the best sound for the buck. I really like the Pontus 2 12th. I recently put some super-tweeters in my system . Always tweaking here and there.
To my 66 year old ears I believe it was real. Progressively got better. I hate burn in time. The only way I can judge it is if I’m still listening and 3 hours have gone by without me noticing. And I want more but it’s midnight! Yea I love the Pontus Dac. I listen to a lot of just CD quality music on tidal and it makes it all sound good!

Sounds bright to my ears (subjective). I highly recommend a cloud to tame ceiling reflections, it will improve your sound substantially.
Yes a cloud is on my list. I have several room treatments from GIK. I have to get approval from the boss.
