One of my favorite big club layouts. The scenery is colorful, warm and positive. And, as one would expect, the highlight is that huge bridge with nicely arranged trees and undergrowth surrounding the bridge. Liked watching the tank train thread those switches.
Every time I see a video of the HO scale version of #1943 makes it harder and harder to not want to buy one for myself. Looks like I'll break down here this summer or fall and buy one... or after I get my preordered tunnel motors in November :)
Thanks. I have something planned, but it won't be till I get more of my service facility completed. But, yeah, I've been needing to do one for a while now.
I’m trying to setup a train layout. I guess my biggest problem is should I stick to one theme. I want somewhere around 20 engines and 100 plus cars. Should I buy same kinda car cause I live in a coal area. Plus same kinda engines. I’m looking for some tips. Any would be appreciated. Thank you. My budget is around $2000- $2500.
Decide on the area you would like to model, figure out what the railroads are running in that area, and go from there. You may live in a coal area, but coal traffic on the railroads has been declining a lot over the passed 5 or 6 years.

awesome layout, cool video, I like the huge bridge, looks like the real thing. 🙏👏👍
Glad you enjoyed it, that bridge was hand built from scratch, it's amazing to see in person.
Love the 1st. Tressel shot and the land scaping. Nice very long Tanker run.
Thanks Fred, glad you enjoyed it. They have some awesome scenery and that trestle is mind blowing.

Definitely recommend buying one if you're still contemplating on buying one
That’s one of my favorite videos
Good Video Jason I will be going to there in August
Thanks, are you a member of that club, or just going for the State Fair show?
No, I just go there to film the models at the State Fair and I will be going there in August
Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome. Thanks for watching.
Great video do you think you'd be able to do a roster video on all the locos you own?
Thanks. I have something planned, but it won't be till I get more of my service facility completed. But, yeah, I've been needing to do one for a while now.
Awesom! such a good loco right?
I still stand in awe over that beautiful Kate Shelley bridge.

It's very good
Awesome video!! Where did you find the extra information about the B-17?
Thanks. I just did an online search for "The Spirit of the Union Pacific B-17" and looked at what popped up.
Great layout! Is your grain elevator made up of pvc pipe?
How long is the ethanol train?
