I think the best part is you didn't muffle or wash out the original sound, but actually amplified and added onto it in a way that is not only cleaner and sharper in sound, but also adds onto and makes stronger the feelings being represented!
Also. NEW LYRICS!! Does this imply a change in the story from the original, or simply information that was omitted the first time around???!

thank you! and the lyric changes aren’t really revealing any new information, but rather making the story overall more poetic. i’ve improved in writing a lot since i wrote the original (and also just developed a love for literature and poetry), and i wanted this version to reflect that :)
a specific example of what i mean is the change from “don’t be sorry” to “count your sorrows.” these essentially (can) mean the same thing, but “count your sorrows” leaves a lot more up for interpretation and mystery, and is a play on words with “count your blessings.”
At first, I was surprised to see this is sung by DEX, I love the way you tuned him!! This is such a good song, and your art style is great, too :]
