You could not escape these lads in the 90s and early 2000s. They had hit after hit, but unfortunately they never got a number one single! All that doesnt matter tho, cos to this date they are THE most popular boy band of all time, in terms of sales. 🎼🎶

IWITW also didn’t hit number one because they only released the song as radio and AirPlay single and not a physical CD sold single, which also hampered its chances of getting number one

They are legitimately the biggest selling boy band of all time. They have sold over 130 million albums worldwide. This came out in April 1999. They have been together 30 years. April 20th, 1993. To this day, it's one of their biggest hits. It's up there with "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" and "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)". Back then, you could NOT escape this song. It was everywhere. The album it was on is called, "Millennium". It is their biggest selling album. The tour for this album sold out in less than a day. That was how massive they were. In many ways, they still are. They still sell out venues to this day, 30 years later. ❤💜
Love this song as well as the Backstreet Boys. Fun Fact about this song: The line "tell me why" is an ad-lib Brian Littrell of the Backstreet Boys said that in an interview one time when asked to tell facts about certain songs. So that line was just put in the song without planning and it worked.

Finally got to see them last Aug! I got the tickets for Aug 2020 but it was postponed to Aug 2021.I cried when they pushed it again to 2022. They are differently my second favorite boy-band. NKOTB will always be my number 1. Backstreets Back is a fun up-beat song of theirs. You always make me smile! You're so funny!

Back in the day, Backstreet Boys had a promotion with Burger King. They had collectible figurines of each Backstreet Boy and their single was given out in kids meals. Yes, I collected all of them. 😂😂😂 They had Burger King commercials as well.

Fun fact, English is not the first language of the songwriter that wrote this for them, he's Swedish. They know it makes no sense and they actually recorded another version that did make sense but they didn't use it because they didn't like the flow lol.
