Not exactly, I would say that was a very characteristic sound used by the music produced by Max Martín and his associates during late 90s and early 2000s, you can hear those type of percussions in Britney songs, NSYNC, Westlife, a couple songs from Celine Dion also (very noticeable in her song “That's the way it is”) and maybe some other artists I may not know right now
