I’m looking to go PRL as well with my FL5 just as you did. It looks like you have all the turbo inlet piping and intercooler upgraded. What HP are you making as you sit ?
Around this time with FBO and just the off the shelf hondata 93 tune I put 352 on the dyno on a 100+ degree day. With these bolt-one and a custom tune probably around 370-380 :)
i guess Im asking randomly but does someone know of a tool to log back into an instagram account?? I was dumb forgot the account password. I love any assistance you can give me!
@Dustin Jamison i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
An Cold air intake is worth it on the type r because it reduces engine overheating while on track and the engine finally can breath well than the stock ecu and also gives the engine more horsepower and more turbo whistle while up shifting and down shifting.
great video, did you put any anti sieze on the inlet pipe bolts that bolt up to the turbo ? also did you use a torque wrench or just tightend her up real hard ? ( the bolts from the inlet pipe to the turbo )
@@xSyrious I ordered the thermal coated inlet and the cold air intake last night. I’m gonna do them at the some time. They said I’ll be ok without a tune for now but if go any further I should definitely get one. Do you agree.
You do if you want to use it to its maximum potential. If not the ecu will just recalibrate itself to make rum at the same performance level as stock. So yes and no :)
It all depends on the degree of utilization, it is not always colder and better ...
mine's a track build designed to last for multiple 30 minute sessions. i mentions this in most of my videos. so in my case less heat more power.
Looks good! Hope I can get mine soon!
It will come! :D

@Dustin Jamison it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thanks so much, you saved my ass!
@Bridger Houston you are welcome :D
Very nice! I like the coating should help with temps
Thanks! I think so too! :)

I honestly just tightened her up. I could find the specs for the torque amount at the time I haven't had any issues yet though
@@xSyrious cool, thanks for that, im getting mine very soon! 😄
U want less heat, take out the shield underneath your engine
Have you check your valve clearance? That sounds like valve lash.
yea I already turned the valve! :)
I’m thinking about getting this. Where you happy with the finish of the black inlet pipe.
Yes! I'm very happy! I also have the black prl intercooler so it matches with everything else! :)
@@xSyrious sweet! Thanks man. Car looks sick.

Awesome man.. That's definitely my next mod but how did u get it thermal coated? Did prl do it?
It was a limited run by PRL. They might still have it on their website im not sure! Thanks for the comment
I can't find it
BOV on the Type R???
Very nice💪🏼
Did you check temps before and after?
Now when I installed the intlet pipe. but I checked randomly a few times and it does run slighlty cooler for longer
I want it soon!
Do you need a tune with this inlet pipe upgraded?

Any performance difference?
lower AIT 1 Temps than normal. and it sounds slightly different
Charge pipes?
No, i still have the stock pipes!
Never got the noti but I’m still here and got my syrious media merch in and I’m rocking The hell out of it
haha it's all good homie I appreciate you whenever you get the chance too watch! :) I so grateful for you enjoying the merch as well!
What’s your mod list?
I'll make an update mod list video soon!
Dont you gotta get it tuned after installing those?
yes and no lol To get maximum performance I would!
