In Algeria, LGBT+ individuals are often persecuted and jailed. Some have even been murdered. The majority of Algeria's population identifies as Sunni Muslim, which is very anti-lgbtq+ If this adds up as her being trans, why would she be allowed to compete in the olympics or even PERMITTED to represent her country??
By everyones logic, she would have been welcomed back in her country very much likely in handcuffs instead of cheers and celebration.

It's disheartening to see a woman who has many features that I've seen on many women in Algeria be treated like she's a man or was born a man.
It sounds especially foolish to me because nobody in Algeria could get surgery done and keep living there, let alone be an athlete.

FYI it was the IOC that defended her vehemently and allowed her to compete. It was the IBC, the boxing federation (although it was stripped of this by the IOC some time ago) that created this nonsense largely because it’s a Russian puppet.
There is no problem with the testosterone test, it was all a hoax to please Russian boxing in 2023. The Olympic organizing committee requested this test from the IBA and they did not respond to it.
So this guy couldn't compete with other men, we get it. Stunning and brave.

The IBA never confirmed this alleged test. Umar Kremlev wasn't even at the tournament when he made that accusation. Imane competed for years and has a very low KO ratio. She has an obvious range advantage in the fights that were predominantly technical. If she was man, she had way more power. She just doesn't, did you even watch the fight?
The IOC did this, to this person. The money may or may not compensate for this. Furthermore, perhaps others played a part in tnis. Perhaps Khelif is, in some way a victim. Still a male. But i dont doubt the suffering that even monry won't erase.
