For zooming in instantly : just place a zoom trigger with the zoom that you have (the default is 100%) behind a other zoom trigger with the zoom that you want (the gap between them must be very small to be instant)
For the media thing zoom: to the right of the video player, there is the details thing, under that there is the thing im talking about rn.

it wont reposition itself correctly when it zooms out from the left, its all over to the side and when i try to move it back into position it makes the zoom into the middle and it wont work how yours is :(

Great video, but I cannot believe that Capcut has not automated this process vs having to keyframe it because keyframing a zoom in and out smoothly is difficult. Filmora and Davinci do this with ease (starts on a green box and ends on a red box- simple). LOL. I hope they insert a Pan and Zoom feature into the Crop menu soon.
