THIS WAS LITERALLY THE BEST THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED PRICING VIDEO I HAVE SEEN!!! Everyone always just says " know your worth don't sell yourself short" but never explains an exact way on how to come up with pricing. Business changes all the time and so do vendor prices so depending on the circumstances you could potentially be making more which is great or you may need to find another supplier. It is always good to have an exact way and formula on pricing. You never want to just throw a price on there just because. Well at least I don't lol. Thank you for this info! 💞💞

Oh no. I'm not good with math but better with accounts so I thought everyone knew that they had to add shipping to the cost as that is the final cost of the product. I live outside of the US so I also have to add additional shipping cost to get the products here

This is probably the best explained video regarding how to price your items with well explained examples. The only question I have is how did you come up with your overall investment number of $140?

Right wouldn't it be $109.98. $18.33(product+shipping per item)×6(six products)=$109.98 investment?
@@briauna1406 yes it was an error. Bc your investment amount is the amount you pay to get the product. Product + shipping. Basically whatever your invoice says.
I think she made an error, in the beginning she said that the pack has 2 of each size, 2sm, 2md, 2lg, for a total of 6 pieces for $15.00 and paid $90 plus $20 shipping so that means she bought a total of 6 packs, $15X6=$90 +$20 shipping for a total of $110 dollars for 36 total pieces (6pieces x 6packs= 36pc) so take $110/36 gives you $3.06 each shirt. Now if we break down the cost of shipping its $20 dollars / 36 pieces which is $0.56 cents added to the cost per shirt, then add up you profit margins and everything else from there.
It was an error. Your calculations were correct

When she sent me the link to purchase her profit calculator, it was $65 to purchase, which I said was way to costly for me just gettin started so I turned to RUclips. I am so glad I did. so, I have just started doing drop shipping/selling products that aren't handmade. this is the best video ever I done watch about 20 but remembered your YT channel and came right back here. so happy that I did.
This was soooo helpful. The only problem is most of the products I am trying to sell.. the shipping is way expensive alone. Like almost $2000. So it’s a little insane of how much I would have to sell my products for just to make profit.

I feel so blessed to have come across your videos! I have been thinking about starting a boutique business since last year! The pandemic taught me a lot of lessons about life, and more specifically about the online world and adaptability. I want to say that you are an amazing teacher and you know how to connect with your audience. I tend to learn better when the person teaching knows this skill. I have one question though, if you have a specific niche. Say, swimwear, and you want to drop a collection that includes one style but different colors. Would you recommend just purchasing one pack of each color and size? I say this because in comparison to selling let's say women’s clothing you would sell multiple items and for someone starting off it may be difficult to buy multiple packs of different styles. But when its just one item, different colors, if they sell out you would have to make customers wait until you get more inventory.

This was super helpful! I just got your spreadsheet 🥳🥳🥳 quick question…do you use spreadsheet to keep a running list for all your inventory new or old or is the sheet just used for planning/incoming inventory? Like once the product launches, do you remove the item from your sheet?
I always overthink things lol
I usually keep data of all old inventory as well just incase I decide to restock also for financial purpose. Keep everything!

Yes I would think to add packaging and shipping also. I was wondering why she didn't add that.
Yes you add the total cost of packaging, and to your total cost of goods and then determine your price from there.
