We have less money in our pocket, bills are going up above inflation - water bills up 30%. On top of that our personal tax allowance frozen for another 2 years means we get poorer every year. In US ROI per year is running at 20% UK less than 5%,electricity price in US 1/3 of UK and less tax and regulations.

I have read through the Employment Rights Bill and it is going to be an absolute nightmare for employers - particularly SME's which are the bulk of employers in the country. For youngsters just leaving education with no proven track record of employment, reliability, honesty, punctuality hard-working etc., employers will be reluctant to take them on, not to mention women of child-bearing age.
A fraudster called emplyer wants a reliable and honest worker? Don't you expect too much?

These fools in power need to realise that we are not all on theirs wages, Last year(2024) I for one didn’t get a pay rise and as yet do not know if I’m getting one this year thanks to them putting National Insurance up for employers and all the while very everything is going up.
