Well, u sold me on NOT getting a high-tech expensive setup--I couldn't fix what u did and couldn't do "lawsuits", etc. I will stick with a simple van build where I set it up and I know how everything works. I am glad it is now working well for u now, though--u deserve it, for sure. 👍 Thank u very, very much. I am so glad I found your videos as well as those from others.
Thanks for the video and updates. I have a 2020 4x4 BL and I also live in AZ, so I watch your videos with interest. I like your upgrades and I have done many similar. I have the boxes, Owl ladder, Aluminess heavy duty front bumper, Agile RIP Kit, upgraded tires and wheels too. I like seeing what others do with similar setups. I also have had my share of Winnebago quality problems as well. They really suck as a company, and I wouldn't recommend a product of theirs to anybody. I still have a pesky small water leak problem on one of the water lines running behind the shower faucet wall that I took in twice to get fixed but was never done correctly. I tried addressing it myself but getting access to it is a real problem so if you have any ideas, please let me know. I'm also interested in your blackout curtain setup. Where did you get it and did you install it yourself? Also, any great boondocking camping areas in AZ that you can share with me would be appreciated. Especially in any higher elevation areas to escape the summer heat. As a rule, I get my rig out at least once a month to enjoy and justify its cost. I've explored a lot of this great State, but I could use more ideas. Thank you for your time.
Thanks for watching. Yes, Winnebago used to be a descent brand but I think most of the RV manufacturing has slipped quite a bit. We used to live in northern Indiana and as a machinist I have made component parts for most of the major brands out there. I’ve seen companies lose contracts on parts for less than 1/4 of a cent price cut because someone got their hands on some cheap Chinese steel. Sad. Glad I got out of that industry. Up here, north of Prescott, there is a ton of boondocking availability. Prescott NF is massive. Lots of public land between Prescott and Flagstaff. I use Gaia for map searching public lands. That and just heading out onto the dirt roads and seeing where they take me. We can drive all the way up to Williams or out to Sedona without touching pavement. As far as your leak behind the shower goes you have a few options. But they all are going to be tight fit to get to by just removing the control panels or the vents. Shoot me an email and maybe I can help you out. Can you see where the leak is originating from? You can DM me through our Instagram link as well. Good luck 👍🏻
If u r not full time RVing there is no reason to get this type of RV n incur the expense.. no type of math justify...buy if u r full time RVing w long stays then this works. So many people fool themselves into a money pit

Good update. I’m thinking about buying a Boldt as a second RV.
Thank you I’m glad you got your electrical system updated. Did they tell you what the problem was?
They had to replace the extra alternator, inverter and solar charger. Also had to replace the relay that open/closes the solar charger.
