I am Thai who used to work in Singapore couple years ago and while I stay in the room I watched Singaporean TV which open this song. From that moment until now, this song still in my memories and made me cry all the time. I miss you a lot Singapore, Raffle place.
Being a father of a 17 year old, I would have been so glad to hear my daughter composing a song about my participation of her struggle in her early career. It would be nerve breaking watching her undertaking an unconventional path.

曲婉婷就生活在这四季如春、碧草如茵的温哥华。在她的家乡哈尔滨，566名底层职工因为她母亲一手主导的“改制”失去了生活来源。零下24度的冰天雪地里，这些职工没有拿到遣散费和保险，烧着碎煤勉强度日，奄奄一息。
曲婉婷就这样沉浸在她爱的海洋中，她用美妙的音乐表达着对生活的无尽向往。可与之相对的，哈尔滨最底层工人没有学历没有金钱更没有希望。他们只有辛劳了一辈子却没有得到回报的心酸的泪水，而这泪水或许就是曲婉婷那爱的海洋。
