Can differ depending on each set. Some sets the light packs are the hits because they made the white non hit code card too heavy(FS). It’s why people want to know what print run cards come from because Pokémon might screw up on the 1st and 2nd print run then fix it by the 3rd.
new subscriber--good content. I've always wondered if Costco was doing some shady stuff. I've heard both that they're loaded with hits and that they're resealed.
We bought one of the double tins and did amazing. 24 dollars and we hit 50 dollars in good cards. However. We struck out hard on the ultra premium 151 dollars package. We didn’t get a single card over 5 dollars, apart from the promos
@@michaelgoedeker9697 wow that’s awesome for the double tins! What cards did you get? I also opened up a 151 UPC box and got nothing more than a basic ex card 🥲
@@travcollectscards Ironically the cards we pulled depreciated quite a bit. We pulled the Unown V, and a dragonknight with good value. I haven't heard of anyone doing well on the 151 UPC's from Costco so far
The ignorance to some of these claims is a special kind of special. Costco is a massive and the amount of sealed products they move let alone individual packs in those products would take a damn Amazon fulfilment center sized warehouse with hundreds of employees working around the clock to open, sort, weigh, repack and ship. No different then the people claiming MJ holding the largest card distributor opens packs and reseals them. They supply every Walmart in the country as well as tons of other stores even bigger than costco there would literally be hundreds of people involved in the packaging alone and somehow they keep it on the low?!? Yes they break down junk products for mystery boxes and repackage tins but they could care less about what is in the packs. Costco had 253.6 billion in revenue with 31.7 billion in profits last year. Yeah there opening pokey mans cards.
@@robertromero8094 had these in my collection for a couple years, but remembered there was evolving skies in them so I had to try to get the moonbreon 😩
If this theory was remotely true wouldn't you have weighed the sealed balls with the untouched packs inside as they all still seem like there factory plastic wrapped 🤷
@@travcollectscards haha that's a fair call dude. Still always good to find these balls with the SwSh era packs without having to pay through the teeth for them 🤭 keep the kids coming 👍
It’s not true. I bought a bunch of heavy hitter boxes from Sam’s club. Pulled moonbreon, rayquaza, giratina, dragonite, galarian moltres, blaziken, charizard v, lugia, aerodactyl, so many bangers lol. Could keep going. They can sell them cheaply because you pay a membership to shop there, they have low cases of theft, and they sell bulk.
@@PeterParkerWebslinger3 Exactly. Even if possible, how is that worth the time and effort for a massive corporation? That's easily several million dollars in labor.
