Dillon State Park - First time here, last of the year. Great site for winterizing! Oct 2023, Ep. 55.

- Our visit to Dillon State Park in Nashport, Ohio, Tuesday, 10/10, for one night only, for the primary purpose of winterizing our camper. We rarely stay at full hook-up sites, but we like to make sure that we have plenty of time to thoroughly flush out the tanks without being rushed at the dump station. We bring the antifreeze with us and winterize the camper right there, and we're good to go for the winter.

We also had not camped at Dillon, so we chose that park to check it out for future longer stays. It was a nice campground, with a unique layout of the loops on different levels. It has a nice, big lake, but it was too cold to kayak, but we may very well return during the summer months.
We got to quite a few campgrounds this year, and may put together a little video summarizing each of them and try to rank our favorites. Joe is also planning to do a compilation video of just the songs he did for his "camper concert series." So we'll have a couple projects over the winter, as well as planning our 2024 camping season. The park looks unique with the campsites layouts. We didn't get to go to Westbranch for our final trip, got rained out. We went to Mohican the following weekend to get the camper ready for winter and they were full that weekend. We had full hookup but they had turned the water off. Glad your enjoying the tea and your welcome. Thanks for another nice song Joe, hadn't heard it in quite a while. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Mike’s most favorite Ohio State Park. We live their disc golf course too. In the summer that sledding hill fills up with lightening bugs and it’s so cool! Winterizing 👎. Are you spending all winter in FL?
Yes, we saw your Dillon video, which is why we chose that loop. We’ll have to book it again during lightening bug season! We spend 2 weeks in the spring and 2 weeks in late fall at our timeshare on the Gulf, so no, not full fledged snowbirds! Too many grandkids back in Ohio. 😍
