I follow this exact steps and only made 4 petals. How does she able to crochet 6 petals when the centre of the flower (blue yarn), only have 12st in total? Considering as per her step, one petal will occupy 3st on the blue yarn part, help 🥲

Each petal occupies 2 sts with alternating steps:
1st is a ch-3;
2nd is 4TRC, and another ch-3.
1st st is simply Ch-3;
2nd stitch is 4 TRC, 1 Ch-3.
Repeat 1st and 2nd for (3,4), (5,6), (7,8), (9,10), and ...
St #11 is Ch-3:
St #12 is 4TRC, Ch-3, and...
..That Ch-3 will be anchored with a slip stitch into st #1 (where the original Ch-3 was made).

I did mine with 5MM hook because it’s all I have right now since I’m just beginning crocheting . I ended up with 7 petals but it still looks really good (at least in my opinion lol) you do a really good job showing and explaining everything! Can’t wait to have an army of colorful crochet flowers!

Great video, just one thing - I think a different color besides white would have been best, given the background. The white was a little hard to see, but I don't think it would be impossible to follow.

Thank you for this great video!! I absolutely love these cute flowers. I am having trouble at the last slip stitch though. Do you insert it into the very first stitch where you’ve started your first petal? When I do this I have a small gap in between the first and last petal, and it doesn’t form the stitches that make a connecting V between each other petal. Is there a way I can close this gap or am I just inserting my last SS in the wrong place? Thank you if anyone sees this!

Móc 3 mũi xích móc vô 1 chân rồi móc 4 mũi tiếp theo vào 1 chân á b. Mình làm được rồi nè

You can use 4.5mm hook and I think your flowers will look softer than mine. Give it a try and see how the results are 😉

You can use a bigger size yarn or double thread the yarn you are using. Then select a bigger crochet hook to match the size of the yarn.

Màu xanh chị dùng Milk cotton 50g mã 46 nhé em
E móc hồi nó ra có 4 cánh ak cj
kết thúc hàng 2 (nhụy màu xanh) là mình có 12 mũi, hoa có 6 cánh thì mỗi cánh tương đương với 2 mũi. Em nhớ chú ý 4 mũi TRc là móc vào cùng 1 chân nha, xem lại giúp chị coi có móc lộn chân kế bên hong á
How can I hook only 4 wings?
để được 4 cánh hoa thì ở phần nhụy hoa em tạo vòng tròn ma thuật xong móc 4 mũi đơn (sc), lên hàng 2 móc 4 mũi tăng inc (là có tổng 8 mũi đơn), tương đương mỗi cánh hoa sẽ chiếm 2 mũi đơn ấy.
Của chị 6 cánh thì phần nhụy chị có tổng là 12 mũi đơn

I think you may have crochetted into the slip stitches at the end of the round and that is cause of increasing the number of petals. Please note the following 2 things:
- No1: In round 1 we have 6 single crochet stitches and in round 2 we increase to 12sc, equivalent to 6 petals
- No2: Skip the slip stitch at the end of each round
***Or you can also crochet in a continuous spiral for the pistil (blue)

Ủa sao mik làm y chang mà nó ra 8 cánh 🫠
Mình đoán chắc là bạn móc nhầm vào cả mũi trượt lúc kết hàng ấy (phần nhụy hoa màu xanh) nên là số mũi bị tăng lên. Bạn thử làm lại nhớ siết chặt cái mũi trượt kết hàng 1 chút và không móc vào mũi đó nhé. Tổng số mũi của hàng 2 là 12 mũi thôi.

nếu muốn to hơn thì bạn thử dùng len và kim to hơn xem sao nhé, bạn chập 2 chập 3 sợi len lại á.
Mình nghĩ nếu muốn to hơn thì bạn thử móc 3 hàng cho nhụy hoa, hàng thứ 3 móc đơn còn cánh hoa móc lên 4 mũi bính và 4 mũi kép đôi chung chân lên 1 mũi bính thử xem
