Hello Alvin. I received my Venus 2 12th 6 days ago. I had to wait overnight before I could plug it in as temperatures here were minus 36 degrees celsius and the unit had spent a few hours in the UPS truck... Anyhow, I listened to it the day after and my first reaction was that I was underwhelmed. I let it run around the clock since then and just had a listen. Wow! I am really impressed by the sound. It is just day and night in only 5 days of break-in. I cannot wait to see how the sound will be after 3 or 4 weeks of break-in. I had previously heard an Ares 2 and a Pontus 2 and thought they sounded pretty good, but this is way better! You can count me in the Denafrips fan club now!

I wanted to get the Venus 2 to use with my dmp-a6 standard edition. My question is would it be better to by pass the clocks in the dmp a6 and use the venus 2 clock. Would this be done by going usb from dmp into Venus. I want the take advantage of the best sound possible between using the two devices together. Currently I’m using the dac in the dmp-a6. Would love to know .

Today i got my new venus...breaking in time for me now...but i dont get the i²s fine. i tested all modes but only one or another is doable. so dsd right or pcm right. both isnt possible with no wrong noises. i got a gustard U18 and i get the right mode on the shumann ladder dac, but not on the venus. theoreticly it must be one of 4 modes...but it isnt. on me or the other...i also tried with all 4 gustard modes. But i habe to say...the venus sound right out of the box fine...cant wait how it will sound after 250 hours😍
@@VinshineAudio Hoping to know when it will get released, and looking into buying one, I recently sold my Kinki integrated and I regretted it every since. It has the sound signature that I really like. My current amp is also great, but a new Kinki will definitely interests me. 😄
Hello Alvin, how much would you recommend spending on a Network Attached Audio Player to feed the Venus 2 12th with a good quality stream ? Do you recommend any candidate NAPs, or streamers that would work well ?
Hi Alvin. For the Venus II 12th ed, would you recommend using a Denafrips IRIS DDC converter upstream to get the I2S format into the Venus II, or would this not help (and potentially even harm) the fidelity?

I got my Venus 2 a year a half ago or so, is there some type of upgrade program to get the new juice?
Whitch dac will be good upgrade for the b&w702s2 and rotel 1582mk2 2x200w?...my prepro is still old denon 2807 receiver 😵💫 ??

Please tell me which DAC do you like more - Denafrips Venus / Terminator or Jay's Audio DAC2-MK3 ?
My opinion is certainly biased. Just so you know, I like the Terminator II 12th DAC :)
