I do love new decks but I try to be really intentional about what I’m bringing in. I watch flip thrus to see if I connect with the images. That’s SUPER important for me. AND doing a declutter, I agree, it helps me see what is working too. Energy changes and some decks may not vibe with me anymore. Declutter videos are so my jam! They’re so satisfying for me 😊 I’ve found that, oftentimes, I enjoy flipping through a deck and looking at the cards individually, but for actually doing readings with it, it just falls flat, which is why they’re in the limbo bin in the first place. Very satisfying to see your results at the end, whew what a cull!
Thank you! And I 100% agree with you. I try to watch unboxing videos to see if I vibe with the cards .. I’ll watch quite a few on the same deck. But even that isn’t a perfect approach cuz I end up with stuff to declutter 😭🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
I've seen some people say that knockoffs tend to have a QR code on the box instead of a guidebook, but some decks just don't come with guidebooks. For each deck, it's good to do your research and compare the boxes and cards. Hope this helps a bit! For the Millennial Tarot, I'm waiting on the updated version in the fall with improved card stock!
I returned my millennial tarot because I hated the card stock and size of the cards. I tried to connect to the cards because I loved the keywords, but it just wasn't working for me.
