I was in the season for a moment and already at level 5 have a malignant heart that automatically casts CE (only corpse skill I have. Note, it doesn't cast skeleton priest). Walking near a corpse automatically activates an equipped Corpse skill every second, dealing 38% reduced damage.
Nice build guide! You're missing out 3 points in Inspiring Leader for that additional 12%[+] attack speed. Could it be an idea to sacrifice 3 points from bone prison to put into Inspiring Leader instead?

Thanks Fluff! Good to see necro guides from you again. I see on other blood lance builds they forgo blood lance ranks (keeping 1 point in the skill - as apparently it doesnt scale passed this). What are your thoughts? Also keen to try blood necro in season 1. Cheers!!
Got a feeling that the hearts will be in the base game when the season is over. Its a way to build more and more content in the game. And they will be following PoE formula where they add season mechanics to the base game. Diablo 3 did not do this. But I have heard a developer say that they will add season mechanics and items to the base game.

it definitely does scale, just tested it to be sure
My understanding is the overpower does not scale. This is because overpower doesn’t scale on base damage

bone prison counts as minion btw so does Deathspeaker's Pendant proc on bone prison...

I'm fighting mobs of like 50 at a time and it's not a problem because corpse tendrils just pulls everything in and stuns them

Fun build! Finally got rid of the boring bone spear. Dunke! But, I wonder what to do with the extra 2 points?

bone spear is better... BUT... a lot of people are simply sick of bone spear at this point :/ me included
why do we need crit again? the dmg didnt change with crit.
overpower can crit, it just doesn't scale crit damage but it will grant the base crit damage bonus

It s a quaint little build but running 47s will get old pretty quick.
This is without malignant hearts with them expect some crazy shit happen
Overpower as a mechanic needs some work.
Overpower as a stat is too weak. The moment you try nm 50+ with Lance you struggle.
