Hi, from the time I did that video until now a lot changed in the world so the prices are not near the same, but the idea is the same 😁 maybe i do a new video one of these days with more recent products, there are new options in the market that will be nice to have. One thing I would recommend for a hobbyist is to get one of the cheap LCR meters. Banggood has them for sale under 10 dollars. They test caps, inductors, transistors, diodes, resistors. Really excellent for testing components. I am glad LOTO is sending you an Oscilloscope. They make good Oscilloscopes.
It on my backlog for videos the assembly of 2 of those devices... Regarding LOTO, yeah they seemed very nice, lets see if I receive a unit so I can test it.. .the software seem very complete.

I think you got a good selection of tools and test gear for the budget you set, well done. I'd have loved to have something like that when I was starting out. Also a good variable-output bench power supply can be made by modifying an old ATX PC power supply and they can be got for virtually nothing. I'm not sure it would be a good project for a beginner though given the lethal voltages inside the case.

Whats a cheap desoldering station vacuum? I know not $60 but can you recommend some?
Hi! Sorry the late reply, just arrived from 2 weeks vacation. I have here a desoldering gun to make a review for some time now, it works very well and Im very satisfied with it. Isn't a desoldering station, I don't need one at this momento, but for the normal desoldering jobs, works very well. It's the ADT03 ( geni.us/IX4eJ ) and it costs around +/- 22€. @@TechCornerTV I only buy on Amazon if you have a affiliate link I'll make you 5 cents 😉 😀. I've seen similar ones. Wasn't sure how well they worked. I used to use a radio shack bulb attached to a iron and it was always plugged up. The solder suckers are hard for ic chips. Anyway thanks for all the great videos you are helping alot of us out.
